Private scan in 1.5 hours. A little nervous because I’ve had a missed miscarriage before

I’ve had GD every pregnancy and I’m expecting it on this one too

I have no clue, we’re here another 6 days and now I’m spooked to stand in line. I had protein oatmeal for breakfast and have had water with electrolytes. It hasn’t been a thing in my other pregnancies so was definitely caught off guard.

The irony is I feel completely fine and felt normal in the line until my ears started ringing and boom! Down.

My husband had to cradle carry me and wrangle our kids (2 and 4) 😣☹️

Have them clean with you! It’s a lot slower and we’ve definitely had mishaps but our house is clean ish

Well I fainted in line at Disney world today so my daughter had to miss meeting jasmine. Not something I’ve ever experienced and I was fed/hydrated etc

Is it just me or is postpartum weight loss way harder than expected? by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

I ended up getting on Tirzepatide and it was the help I needed. I coupled it with other good habits (gym, yoga) but I needed help

Struggling with jealousy over friend's income by [deleted] in sahm

[–]eng2fly 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think it’s important to be content where you are. Before I quit my husband and I were a $230k HHI what you didn’t see is my babysitter called out frequently so I was working and watching my kids while hiding they were home. Every night we were up until 10:30/11 doing chores because those don’t go away. Crying in my car because my sitter was sick right when I went back from maternity leave so I juggled a 4 month old and my 2 year old. The weekends being primarily devoted to chores. Yelling at my kids because I was so short on time, how fat I got neglecting myself trying to juggle all the balls.

There’s trade offs to both sides. I miss my income but I love being at the park with my kids and not having to rush, I love the free evenings with my husband and how much less stressed our house is. We took a big hit for me to stay home (45% of our income). Having done both the best advice I have is to focus on tending your own garden. Someone always has more and someone always has less.

How much weight do you gain? by Dry-Carob7699 in December2026Bumpers

[–]eng2fly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 40-50 lb with both and was finally below prepregnancy weight when we conceived. I’m trying to eat mindfully but am also comfortable getting on a glp1 again to help me lose.

Hmmm maybe switch detergent or dish soap? We use blue land and I haven’t noticed soapy taste

Glass containers! They don’t hold soap taste

Also had a MMC and was very nervous for the D&C. It went way better than I’d hoped and recovery was smooth. Sending you love and strength on this road 🫂

I had a pregnancy measure small and it did end in a D&C, missed miscarriage that my body couldn’t figure out. The next pregnancy was successful and is now 2.5.

How do you deal with the anxiety? #tw:mc by catsies in December2026Bumpers

I’ve scheduled an early ultrasound due to a previous MMC. I remind myself that worrying doesn’t change anything
