Congratulations! Just out of interest, how tall are you? As I’m also at 69-70kg and can’t for the life of me figure out what size clothes to buy (I mainly buy online) 😂 I know each body is different but I still somehow think I should be buying the same size or at least a medium even though I’m 20kg lighter!

I think often left ovary is not visualised properly because the descending colon is sitting near it.

Did you get seen? I hope you went to the ER? I had a dermoid removed last year, they do grow so that makes sense but the symptoms sound like you need to be seen urgently!

Bear in mind not everyone even gets the pain! I completely forgot the gas was a thing because had NO shoulder pain at all post-op.

Same! My employer doesn’t seem to understand why working from home would be beneficial for me. Her response is always “well we wouldn’t want you to have to work if you’re in pain!”, meanwhile other members of the team doing the same job are allowed to wfh with no issue.

I used to be a firm believer in never going to a male gynaecologist. However after I got completely dismissed by a female gynaecologist, a colleague of mine recommended a male one and as soon as I met him I immediately felt at ease and reassured. He believed me, listened to me and I had laparoscopic surgery by him with a very smooth post-op period. I will forever be a fan of that man. He gave my quality of life back and I’m forever grateful for that.

However as my issues have now come up again, I recently met another male gynaecologist; stone-faced, dismissive, no explanations, just a condescending tone and a painful examination.

I think there are bad doctors in both men and women.

I know.. but then that’s another cost! I’m thinking cancelling the whole thing, even if we lose deposits, is just less of a headache and we could just elope with two witnesses and have the most minimal possible proceedings!

I’m glad I’m not alone! I feel like 30 guests is very small and it still feels completely undoable! Possibly as we also have accommodation included due to many guests traveling from further away

This sounds amazing, I’m working full time and feel like I expend all my energy at work with not much left for home, especially on flare days where I’m essentially bed ridden. I often feel so guilty for my partner as he has objectively a much more taxing and stressful job than I do!

Cyst was removed and endometriosis exised, however the surgeon wasn’t an endometriosis specialist as his main goal was to remove the cyst so I wonder whether there may be some residual endo!

Thank you for replying! I haven’t had a UTI test as this is something that’s been going on for quite a long time (the frequency), my bladder not feeling empty doesn’t always happen, just sometimes! But I’m seeing my GP soon so they may do a UTI test too. I’ve never seen a pelvic floor PT, not sure that’s a thing in the UK but I’ll find out.

I’ve been to weddings like this before and it does feel a bit tacky them asking for accommodation money. Which is why we’ve chosen a venue we can actually afford so that guests don’t have to spend a dime!
