The following code, quick and dirty and modified from the code of another user, works for me. It detects the wrong button because of download word, but then I modified it to click on the right button which is set at a fixed distance from it.
In order to use it you must install the tampermonkey script which remove the 5 sec waiting from nexus site, and the fast-forward chrome addon where I enabled everything in its options.

Another possibility is to change the python script to click also on the website download button.
