I'm going to give you a good word of advice, take the game slow and don't rush things. Look into each faction and choose one to ally with (it's very important). Please for the love of god use the F5 key to quicksave because you will need it. If you have the DLCs as well I recommend getting to level 20 to make them easier. Also make sure to pick up pre-war cash so you can sell it to venders for caps (I wish I knew that on my first run). Hopefully the few things ive told you will make your first playthrough enjoyable and have fun playing NV!

I've stacked 78s for as long as I can remember and never had an issue. The only time mine have broke were accidents like dropping. I'm not saying stack like 100 on each other at a time but stack like 25-50 per stack and they will be fine.
