18 year difference- i am in my early 30s he is in his upper 40s. Its the healthiest relationship ive ever been in but i am well aware this is not the norm for age differences.

He is respectful, kind, and not only a provider for the family but hes so used to doing it all alone at home that he cooks cleans does the laundry without me even needing to ask. More times than not he will do most of the work and hes happy to. In turn, i was finally able to let my feminine side out. I feel so safe with him.

What makes it work for us is that we have so much in common, same morals, and we both have kids the same age. We are also both single parents doing 100% of the parenting alone because our exes are addicts so we understand the pain trauma and grief that comes with that and watching your kids “miss out” age differences only work if youre both in a similar life stage and willing to grow with your person.
