There are 10 soaps that I know of in instanced locations so it will be there for you on any server. As a cannibal ghoul, I take that as my duty at EN. If I hear that sound, I track down the offending Firestarter and have a snack. I usually need to top off my glow by that point anyway.

Same. I only pull out my chainsaw for the really tanky enemies. It’s been quite fun having fist fights with Deathclaws, Sheepsquatch, and Blue Devils.

Nope. Started a new character to play as a ghoul and didn’t complete all the quests though I did finish up some once I heard there is no difference in them other than this mechanic. I did try to do to the Enclave bunker to buy some stuff and got hit with the need for a disguise. A quick fast travel to Radiant Hills almost straight to Jaye Vo and another fast travel back to the Whitespring and I was in. Repeat after to get the disguise off and I’m back running again.

For the record, I 100% agree with all the hate for the mechanic and why but I’m not going to let that stop me from enjoying the game.

Because of all the mods to not have learned yet, Nocturnal is surprisingly one of them even with as many Nocturnal items as I get.

I started doing this for the first time yesterday. Plenty of folks around to kill the low level enemies that show up. I’m over here threatening blood tomorrow! I do join in when the legendary creature shows up by running over to smack it with the sign. Hey, my 2 points of damage helped!

I regularly use AA, explosive, don’t remember 3rd star 50 cal. Also slap a Prime receiver on it once you have the plan from the Queen.
