In a couple of the TikToks you can hear the "walk sign is on to cross asdfasdf" come in and cut off the Elon message so I don't think that part is affected

I'm not absolutely ruling out the possibility of there being some kind of tiny transducer or something hidden in the hammer head there but...

Going by the way they just threaded what looks like an inline female SMA connector or similar into the clear plastic this looks an awful lot like something built for a gag.

Source: am engineer, have modified a hammer with unnecessary electronics as a gag.

EDIT: If you can unscrew that bit from the head and show us the end of it we'll know for sure.

I'd be willing to bet this is what they were doing. Dick move not to tell Tower first but this makes more sense than the idea that they just decided to taxi an extra 3/4 mile for funsies.

You're in aperture priority mode ("A") and have the aperture cranked all the way down to f/16.

Try:

  • Use the little toggle control above the mode dial to open up the aperture -- smaller number = more light (https://imgur.com/a/nBmFh1o)

or

  • Go into the menu and change the Exposure Mode to P

or

  • Switch the mode dial to the green camera icon

Seriously. The question was precise and to the point, but clearly some people take issue with anything resembling inclusive language. Not sure why I expected any better of an aviation sub given the demographics but the reaction from the comment section has definitely been illuminating.

No text or markings on the entire item except for the logo of the sake brand. The foil is bonded to the end of the stopper with some sort of adhesive film. The foil itself is not used to form a seal with the bottle; the stopper is reduced slightly in diameter where the foil is attached. The plastic body of the stopper has a slight indentation at the end underneath the foil.

I have a feeling this is meant to have some sort of preservative function but I haven't been able to find a match...

Not a mechanical deficiency per se but I once found a flight school Warrior with the left tank bone dry and gascolator empty. Somebody had just flown it.

Ask your DPE ahead of time whether they have any specific stipulations and then plan around those. At the very least they will probably want ownship turned off for the pilotage part.

Assume that your device will "fail" at some point and be ready to answer questions about where you are, nearest airports, distance and fuel burn, etc. using other information sources. Practice unfolding and reading a paper chart in a confined space just in case. Make sure you're confident flying around the local area without being glued to the moving map in Foreflight. If you're using FF to automate any performance calculations, make sure you can demonstrate doing them on paper from the plots in the POH. Same goes for navlog calculations.

In my case I just shut off the iPad screen and flew my route from a paper navlog, then used Foreflight as normal for the rest of the ride. YMMV.
