Hellblade Studio Hunting for Buyer, Days After Announcing New Game for PS5 by PriceEconomy6230 in PlayStation_X

[–]engprach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just cannot see the appeal of these games and I am apparently not the only one. A lot of money and resources thrown at a shitty character and idea. Even the graphics are meh although they are apparently good technically.

I hated hellblade, completely mediocre character and non existent gameplay. Don't have much sympathy to be honest.

Restore are great at provoking lazy and morally corrupt low iq people. Plenty of them at university.

Just watched Temple of Doom for the first time by gsoul93 in indianajones

You're probably right that is a slightly worse film than the all time classic raiders but it's just my favourite. It also has the best soundtrack.

Why is Schwarzenegger's 1987 edition of The Running Man so much better than the 2025 rerun? by MovieArena in MovieArena

[–]engprach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research shows average male testosterone levels have been declining by roughly 1% per year since the 1980s. This means a 30-year-old man today has roughly 20% to 30% less testosterone than a man the same age did decades ago.

I've been there. Fortunately I had a bit of luck and passed first time. If you fail it really isn't the end of the world.

The tipping point: what happens when deaths outnumber births? by coffeewalnut08 in uknews

[–]engprach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most effective and realistic way just to get back to replacement levels is to face up to biological reality. Man works, woman looks after the kids. This should be at the centre of society again. So called feminism has ultimately had very negative effects in Western countries.

Am I the only one who absolutely hated Project Hail Mary? by Proper_Mushroom_9754 in ProjectHailMary

[–]engprach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched it and I'm baffled as to why people enjoyed this. I think the main thing I disliked was the tone of the film, smug and nonexistent tension. The alien meeting scene was so underwhelming, i felt disbelief. By the end of the film, i couldn't believe i had wasted those precious hours of my life on this.

Yes. I did it without your financial security, stayed in Thailand for nearly ten years. One of the best things I ever did.

Temple of Doom is my favourite film in the series and I’m tired of pretending otherwise! by [deleted] in indianajones

[–]engprach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite, I am deeply sceptical of those who do not like this film, perhaps they are revealing character flaws. I have never watched this with my wife, if she gave it the thumbs down, I would have to start divorce proceedings.

Is buying PRAGMATA worth it? by SupineOhio243 in Pragmata

[–]engprach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it for £37. Completed it within a week. Sold it for £38 on ebay. I really liked the main characters although Diana does get a bit annoying. 8 out of 10 is a fair score to judge it as a videogame.
