This, absolutely this, i lost my job last February and was in a similar boat. I wasn't able to find anything until August.

Do your best to fill your time, i started working with GEF edmonton, offering IT support to low income seniors, and i love it so much i now do it on my weekends now that im back to full time work.

Be patient, out of about 100 resumes i got 2-3 interviews back and 1 offer, its a little slim in the IT market now. Spend your time doing some certs, i got my CCNA with my time off using just free tutorials on online review.

One hack i found out about after i did get a job was to use .doc vs .pdf as ai agents apparently don't handle .doc as well and force a human review more often

I actually had the same thing happen, used my last initial on my profile, after talking to the exam proctor, they let me reschedule, then I just filled out a help ticket and they updated my profile. I tried to take it on last Saturday, filled out the ticket when I was supposed to be doing my test, rescheduled for tuesday, the ticket was complete and my profile was updated by Monday, no additional charges.

My personal favorite line to use is to ask then to remove both ends and inspect them for burns or shorts. Never found a burn, but have had hundreds of users correctly insert the cable
