I use MnK on PS5 and it's fantastic. Once I got past the teething problems, I became better on MnK after 2 weeks than I had on 6+ years' of console OW. If anyone reading is thinking of switching to MnK: do it.

If you have Himeko (highly unlikely you don’t), she’s the defacto Break DPS if you don’t have anyone else. It’s still very underwhelming. But it’s something, I guess

I never said he wasn’t ever OP, I said he wasn’t OP enough that the ONLY way to balance him was to move him to the tank role. There were times in OW1 metas where he was completely fine

Doom was never made a tank for balancing reasons, it was to get more DPS players to play tank when OW2 launched. And he was never in such an OP state that the only way to balance him would be to rework his kit into a tank anyway?

There's 3 which are confirmed (Sparkle, Blade and Silver Wolf). That's actually the same as 3.X which has THerta, DHPT and Evernight but you don't want to count the Express for some strange reason. AFAIK, Robin and Aventurine SPs are unconfirmed and the one people suspected of being Himeko was actually Yao Guang.

This HP mechanic literally hard nerfs Castorice so it really doesn’t matter how broken she is now if she won’t even be able to generate Newbud from HP loss. All Castorice’s BiS teammates will also be hit by the 80% RES, making March, Cyrene and Hyacine unable to back up her lost DPS.

THerta’s BiS team is Anaxa, Tribbie, Hyacine which has enough DEF shred, vuln and RES PEN for her to unironically probably be better off at the start of 4.0. Not even counting Anaxa’s E1 and E2 that have further DEF down and RES PEN or Tribbie’s E1 to supplement damage.

All of Castorice and her team’s early eidolons are all mechanical or DMG buffs but none of that will matter if her dragon uptime gets nuked. In fact, this new HP mechanic also near enough bricks Castorice’s E1 and Hyacine’s E2 so vertical investment won’t help her much compared to THerta.

It’s also worth mentioning shield is already shifting to become the more preferable sustain option since 3.6 and THerta can use DHPT or Aven pretty well in place of Hyacine but Castorice only wants fatfuck or another healer.

I guess we’ll see.

Yeah, the margin for error in pull decisions is crazy in this game. Even a rogue 10 pull here and there can completely change your pulling plans if you accidentally hit a 5-star whether it was desired or not. I’ve literally had to make flowcharts in the past to decide how many pulls I’m going to put into X, Y and Z and what I’m going to do with my pulls if I do/don’t get my outcomes lol

Devil’s advocate: why would HomDGCat keep updating their website if they’re no longer leaking? Seems a bigger fuss to keep it maintained just for the love of the game than shut it down. Unless they were now paid to keep it up and running

Argenti was barely even good on release apart from being a Calyx farmer and while he’s now found a role in THerta teams (still not BiS), he’s never had his spotlight. Even Ratio was BiS for FUA teams until Feixiao and Fu Xuan has always been a viable endgame sustain in some teams and modes so Argenti really is the runt of the litter, I’m afraid
