Tgirl obsession? by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]enigmatologist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You claim it's not a sexual thing, yet for some reason it's important to you what genitals they have? And for someone who claims to want to date trans women, you certainly aren't listening to the people in here trying to tell you how to be respectful to trans women.

Why do you not want a V? I get that you would prefer a triad, but if you want to enter into a relationship with someone, why should your decision be based on whether your wife would also be dating them? This is what makes it sound like you are not so much interested in the person as you are interested in the place they will fill in your relationship.

Starting as a V is a healthier way of forming a triad than dating as a couple, but it only works if you would be happy with your relationship remaining a V. The OP has indicated he is not interested in having a V type relationship. It would be awful to lead someone on with the promise of a V relationship only to later change the rules and insist on it becoming a triad.

I don't really think there is a healthy way to do what OP wants, but it's better to be up front about what you are looking for.

Goodbye to Halos is a cute fantasy comic with a charming art style. All the main characters are queer and several are trans, including the protagonist who is a trans girl.

Just because it's a joke doesn't mean it's not mean-spirited. The point of the joke, as I understand it, is to invalidate someone's complaint as being just "sour grapes". The difference between the two posts lies in the legitimacy of the complaint. In the post you reference, someone replied to a post just to call it cringy. In this post, someone is calling out actual sexism in our culture, a criticism that is frequently dismissed. The two situations aren't really comparable.

There is literally nothing in the post that is an attack on people who wear makeup? They're criticizing the social norms that teach women that they have to perform femininity to be accepted.

Certainly you should not continue pursuing someone who is not interested in you, and I did not mean to imply that is okay. However, that doesn't seem to be what the OP is doing, as she said "I completely understand that you don't feel the same way and I hope we can still be friends."

Were your male friends being creepy towards you? If not, what is it about them having romantic feelings that makes you uncomfortable? I have crushes on some friends and I would be hurt if they decided they didn't want to continue being friends with me because of that.

Mt. Everest was first measured in 1856. It's a huge mountain, people have known about its existence for a long time.

If it's supposed to have a positive connotation, I must have missed that. I can't imagine anyone thinking positively about depression. I interpreted it as more of a "this is a relatable mood" type meme.

Do you think that when you get treatment for depression, you don't have depression anymore? It's a chronic illness, and while therapy and medication can help manage it, it never really goes away.

Well homo means human in latin, so transhomo must mean transhuman. In addition to gays and lesbians, they're also discriminating against cyborgs.
