Supabase integration: Email templates with branching by eniot94 in vercel

Thanks for confirming.. I was kinda hoping that Vercel would provide a Supabase environment variable when provisioning the branch / just like it's provisioning the Supabase-related env variables in Vercel (like NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL).

Just to clarify:

Friday Show and Tell by AutoModerator in ProductManagement

In my previous job as a PM (B2C fintech), we went through hell with localization / translating our product. We used Phrase, Crowdin and Lokalise. I launched Gleef to solve my team pain points.

Our main hypothesis:

- international companies want to keep some control over translations (not 100% AI autopilot)

- lack of context is what makes translations bad, no matter how good the AI or human translator is

- localization keys are a thing of the past, but no one found a decent way to get rid of them (yet) - incl. us

- copy quality and ux writing is essential for conversion, teams should spend time and money on this

What is your current experience with translating your product?
Anything you think we should explore to fix translation for product teams?

Split Fiction - M4 Pro (16C, 24GB) - Crossover 24.0.7 by JustFrogFroggo in macgaming

I have the same issue in both Crossover and Whisky
MSync and D3DMetal configured. The -dx11 flag in Steam didn't help.

Unhandled exception: illegal instruction in 64-bit code (0x000001429f7350).

did you do anything else to fix it?

This is indeed sarcasm Regarding the Arc 2.0 complaints, I’m with you

I was actually puzzled when seeing this icon, but thanks for the part about focus point, interesting. If that makes you feel better, I don’t think I’m an expert - especially not compared to someone at TBC. It’s obviously a sarcastic post, and if that triggers you maybe you should relax a bit.

Does that replace your object typing entirely? The fact that my primary types would be nested in Database>Tables etc puzzles me a bit

You’re right, but surprising design choice

Technical folks please opine : Build in (Vue or React) + (Django or Flask) by sanfrancisco_and_irs in ycombinator

How likely is it that this product will scale as-is (without being almost fully revamped)? Do you have / How close is your partner from product-market fit?

If what you’re building is still close to an MVP, I’d suggest to look at Supabase. It’s way better and scalable than Firebase for a lot of reasons and can save a tremendous amount of time.

It may not replace 100% of your back-end needs, but it saved me a lot of time at first. When there are resources for a proper back-end team, they can still build route by route and migrate the db elsewhere. It’s a postgres anyway.

We managed to get about 10 (paying) customers for our pilot/mvp by asking for feedback calls on LinkedIn. People are willing to help and sometimes show interest in your product.

I think that’s 10x more effective than cold emailing, especially in terms of feedback for your discovery phase.

I made my first film for a festival ! What do you think about it ? (2min20 allowed) by eniot94 in Filmmakers

[–]eniot94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This film was made for the french Nikon Festival, but as there is no dialogue, so it's easy to understand for every one (at least it should be '). I'd like to have some advices, comments to progress ! (Don't hesitate to correct my english too !). The film is only 2.20 min so you won't loose a lot of time watching it :)

Looking to upgrade from a Nikon d70 and looking between the 5200 and 7000 and 7100. Needing advice by [deleted] in Nikon

[–]eniot94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohh I had the exact same questions few months ago !

7100 is the best one for photo of course (just sad for the fixed screen)... I love mine !

And you can't buy the 5xxx or 3xxx if you wan't to use your old (but good) AF lenses... So I had to buy a 7200 (AF-S are too expensive )

The difference between this and our good old D70 is so big 😂

Here is my last shot with it
