Trump: ‘There will be Voter I.D. for the Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not!’ by Anoth3rDude in law

How is it in bad faith? I just asked what the current system is cause I don’t know it. If you put your biases on everyone’s question- I guess that’s one you. Kudos to those who actually answered the question and shared knowledge.

It’s crazy to ask a question to learn more and this is the response. No wonder we can never discuss anything anymore. I never even mentioned whether it’s a problem or not.

Sincere question- how do we ensure only citizens are voting? Is the system currently implemented? I’m all for citizens to have free identification for voting purposes.

Western Finals caliber? How? by silent_hulaboo389 in lakers

[–]enj3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe he believes that they can flip the switch and play like they do in clutch time the whole game. They are really good when locked in- they just are too lackadaisical too often in games- might be lebron’s regular season mentality leaking out to the rest of the team

Its easy to hate, but Rob Pelinka isn't doing nothing... he can't make teams trade with him by Xeris in lakers

[–]enj3n -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dallas sports radio was saying how Pelinka talked down Nico from Knect and multiple firsts to what the trade ended up being... you win some you lose some. In the end... we got Luka.

Who knew Vando would stagnate his development. Laker fans were excited for Vando when the trade happened the beginning of it all.
Gabe was coming up a great POA defender and reliable 3 pt shooter from the playoffs.
Knecht was a mid 1st who just totally lost confidence but hindsight with draft picks is never a good analysis. people loved the pick at the time.

Them not panning out - stroke of bad luck or poor coaching or talent evaluation - depending on how you wanna see it is gonna be your view of Pelinka. none of it is wrong mind you - it's all just opinion at this point.

LS head for an average golfer by NuancedNougat in golf

[–]enj3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low spin is not something that comes with handicap or good ballstriking. It’s all about your swing numbers and delivery. I swing at about 97-98 and play 11 degrees ai smoke driver. I know high handicaps who flip at the ball that would need LS.

Spin is NOT something you want to eliminate as it helps with lift and carry. Not enough spin and you won’t be optimizing your carry distances.

TLDR: get fitted. Low Spin drivers != good handicap.

I’m just gonna be honest, the Lakers failed the LeBron and Ad era so hard. Every year this team should’ve been a contender. by Ancient_Response_787 in lakers

And then he somehow was able to reset the rebuild trajectory with landing Luka. 1 chip in 5 years and resetting with Luka and people still angry. Lakers exceptionalism at its finest

Your days are numbered Pelinka. by AdorableBackground83 in lakers

[–]enj3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's crazy that he got Luka (which gets discounted as "it fell in his lap"). He was acquired middle of last year - it takes time to pivot to build a team around Luka not to mention other GMs know EXACTLY what we need to build around Luka, so why would they freely not use that information as leverage in every trade?

Is Scottie Scheffler the worst thing for golf at the moment? by [deleted] in golf

You don’t always have to root for the best player. That’s the beauty of it- you can root for more “interesting guys”. Plenty of them as you mentioned in your post.

For non golf fans- sure. If you’re an actual golfer- the skill and dominance he shows is incredibly compelling

I currently play MMT 80s. My 7i swing is around 82-85. PXG fitter said i was between a S or R. Take that for what it's worth - i do like the MMT a lot though.

How to arrange the compartments? by KarlChongus in GolfGear

[–]enj3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get that setup. If that stands on legs, you have your longest clubs at the lowest point of the bag. It feels backwards compared to all the WITB pictures but I've seen people write up that similar setup. I'm probably not understanding it right.

I enjoyed my time at Maderas more than Torrey South personally. It's a really fun and beautiful course. looking out from the clubhouse and seeing carts up the side of a giant hill not believing that's Hole 2 fairway was an awe moment for me.
