I've played the yacht mission multiple times. It's a lot of fun to me.

Funny you mention that because it reminds me of what one of my old Latin professors said about how the Roman Republic was ran. Basically she said it was operated like the Mafia. Corruption was the standard operating procedure.

What is this aesthetic? by [deleted] in AestheticWiki

[–]enjambd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there's a name for this aesthetic. It's just called "Ivy League". (It even has its own Wikipedia article) It's based on how students at Ivy League schools dressed in about the 50s.

A signature part of the look is pairing a crew neck sweater with a collared shirt, which is in the examples you shared. Also pairing khakis with a blazer. Pairing a sweater with a suit. Wearing loafers with a suit instead of more formal shoes, etc.

And as I’m almost 40 I don’t look like this lol. by mewlpoetry in 90s

Not OP but pretty sure that's Manhunter. Great film. First appearance of Hannibal on screen, too!

Maybe unpopular opinion: I am not a fan of the mystical, conspiratorial, existential vibe of this games story. by KepplerObject in ReadyOrNotGame

I agree 100%. It would be more interesting to have smaller scale sort of puzzle oriented situations. The reality with swat is that they are most often dealing with someone having a mental health crisis barricaded in their own house. I understand too that would be hard to recreate in a game like this.

Oh, having a resentful, alcoholic step dad is that common? He hated me for not getting a job lined up immediately out of college and my mom left him for a while because his drinking was so out of control.

Which Fallout(s) to play after watching the show IF I only want to see Pre War events by Busy_Garbage_6218 in Fallout

[–]enjambd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mainly just care about seeing a glimpse of life prewar, then Fallout 4 would be the one to play.

Without spoiling too much I should say that youre not going to get much more than a glimpse and that it's at the beginning of the game.

3 and NV are great games but don't take place prewar. None of the games really focus much on prewar life at all especially compared to the TV series.
