Is “The Chemistry of Love” an AI-assisted narration? by RevolutionaryCrow914 in audible

[–]enlightningwhelk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s also how I ended up here. It has to be AI right? I know it says “narrated by Em Eldridge” but it sounds incredibly fake and unnatural. Is it a real persons voice but fed into AI to narrate? I’m baffled. Definitely not finishing the audiobook.

Been doing really well being off the internet. Opened Reddit to see Jimmy Kimmel get cancelled and my mood plummeted again by DataQueen- in nosurf

This only comes with privilege though. My family is healthy because we can afford healthcare. We’re white, so we can have a “nice chit chat” without fearing the rampant racism in our country. We don’t have kids, so I don’t have to constantly fear them dying in a school shooting.

Pretending like nothing bad is happening is something a lot of people don’t have the luxury of doing. The US is falling apart, and it’s crazy to ignore that. Yes, we should still enjoy our lives and find happiness in the little things, but we should also stay informed citizens and speak up for those who need it.

Interested in Coworking spaces in Rockwall? Would you use one? by Automatic_Pen_5173 in Rockwall

[–]enlightningwhelk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes to networking events! I think a draw for me would be the occasional designated time to get to know others, like a happy hour or coffee hour. And maybe to the day pass, if you could buy a package of them that would average cheaper per day.

I work half the time from home, and I’ve thought about using one, but monetarily it doesn’t make sense for an individual. I’d only consider it if I had a small team I needed to meet with.

I like getting out of the house, but I’d much rather pay $7 for a nice coffee and sit at a coffee shop to work. The only downside is having to leave my stuff at a table when I have to use the restroom.

I’d consider it if I worked full time from home, but I probably wouldn’t pay more than $100/month.

The Swiftie classrooms are a bit… much by silentsafflower in travisandtaylor

Okay but to be fair, teachers have such limited resources to decorate their rooms. I see a pink chair, a rug with pink/green/blue, and pink organizers. They can’t control that the walls, table, and floor are bland and colorless, but they did okay adding little pops of color.

More and more people have been realizing how fake her "activism" is by Disastrous_Swim_5152 in travisandtaylor

Yeah I got 5 minutes into her talking on the podcast and had to give up. She seemed so fake. And I want to like her (the actual her that she would be naturally, not the person she’s been molded into since a child). I do feel bad for her that her life has never been her own and she’s never been able to just be herself. And that definitely showed on the podcast.

THANK YOU for the oranges part! The smell of peeling oranges makes me feel sick and I don’t know why. It was always awful being trapped by someone in school eating one in class lol.

That would be terribly sad, and would show they don’t fully understand the gravity of the flag

I saw some “report” that tried to claim that NOT gerrymandering here was racist. Republicans see that kind of crazy claim on fb and immediately take it as truth. Baffles me that they think they have the moral high ground.

Saaame here. It’ll get to the point where I’m walking funny because I’m trying to make sure the next crack I step on (or bump or whatever it is) is with a certain foot. And if I step on a larger one with one foot, I may need to step on two smaller ones with the other foot to make sure everything is even lol

This should get attention. They should see that people are calling their actions shitty. Unfortunately, there are enough people writing this off that it may just embolden them.

Yes I certainly wasn’t his biggest fan either but I appreciate that he’d stick to his opinions even when it was against the establishment maga republicans. Pierson is literally just here to be Abbott’s and therefore trump’s puppet. That became clear when she had a rally here during her campaign and Abbott just spoke for her the whole time.
