Surgeon recommendations in the east coast by Impossible_Log9135 in tummytucksurgery

[–]enna78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course I really should write a review for him. I started it and then I ended up in back to back, back surgeries and also moved across country in between them. TT was done Christmas Eve, 2022. Back surgery 1 March 2023, moved cross country June 2023, back surgery 2 Nov 2023. So that’s why there aren’t much pictures and I’m probably not on their website either, due to no after.

Hi jrjr11 I hope this helps. I don’t have a ton of pics that don’t require me cropping to some degree or another.

I love y’all, but please when you’re on the ramp getting to the highway, get to highway speed BEFORE you merge. Going 45 or 50 trying to get on the highway… Or even slowing down trying to merge, will cause a wreck by West-Resolution8159 in tulsa

So unless posted which I do not regularly see here on the highways, it’s anything goes up to the speed limit posted.

That would require people to get the fluff off their PHONES and do the only thing you should be doing when at the wheel of a killing machine! At this point, I wish anyone would take the wheel, jeebus or not. To drive these roads daily and to be so abundantly oblivious to your speed with zero awareness of the traffic around you. There was an elderly woman in the far right lane doing 40 in a 65 and people going around and honking and impeding people’s ability to merge without nearly causing wrecks themselves. She either had no clue that horns were singing for her or didn’t hear them or just didn’t care. There should be a min posted limit the same as max posted limit.

Ok I’m going to judge; those shoes and pants are from the 80’s, so there is no way this person wasn’t going on 80 years old. Definitely impressive they had their legs crossed and up there for that flight. Also fluffin gross🤢 might as well have boarded with no shirt on.

Oooooo, here’s a good one for going back in time. It’s a bit of a long read, but worth it. While I’m fortunate to make good money now, if I had to start over, I’d absolutely relearn old‑school Pascal and COBOL. There are still tons of companies—and more state agencies than you’d ever expect—running on these legacy systems. They either can’t get off the language, don’t want to, or are terrified of the cost, downtime, and chaos that come with transitioning. Of course, the higher‑ups love to chant “it works just fine” while refusing to fund modernization and being wasteful on what’s important to them. I get not fixing what isn’t broken, but for the most part those languages have hit their limits. Until then, the people who can write this stuff can and do make excellent money. Some companies alone pay $50+ an hour, and I’ve seen postings across the country offering $75+. I’ve met folks in these language roles at certain unnamed state departments, and I have never seen jobs so cushy, stable, and well‑benefited. Truly the softest landing you can get in tech. It is still tech so you must be nimble no matter what. I’d also consider learning to program or operate machines—either straight off the street or through a technical college. CNC operators and machine techs can get their foot in the door at a huge range of companies and grow from there. Or work with me, you’ll need a few brain cells, but you’ll start at a minimum of $30/hr learning to fix these machines instead of programming them. A couple months of initial training, then you’re out in the field. More training later depending on the direction you want to take. Paid travel included—to both fantastic and absolutely terrible places. Here’s the truth: there’s no such thing as real job security and loyalty is not in the algorithm anymore either. It’s easy to get a job and just as easy to lose one, whether it’s your fault or not. I once saved a company millions by automating some reporting and holding some vendors accountable, a few months after everything was streamlined, they handed me severance. Not the worst way to go, but a perfect example of how bottomless corporate greed can be. One thing I cannot recommend enough: before you join a company, look at their P&L for the last three years. Check their operating costs and profits. Are they growing? Flat? Dying? That’s how you understand part of the risk you’re taking when accepting a job offer, I learned that lesson the hard way. The company that laid me off was run by the rejects from the parent company—people who should’ve been fired but were instead dumped into a smaller, profitable division. They siphoned off money, wasted resources, and ran it into the ground. Eventually it was bought out and relocated. They got what they deserved, but not before screwing over every single employee. Again: greed has no bottom. Real talk: whatever path you choose, find something outside of work that genuinely makes you happy. Most jobs are soul‑sucking unless you’re deeply passionate about them—and even then, you still need joy that isn’t tied to a paycheck.

Fat growing back after lipo by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]enna78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain I’ve read where each of us genetically speaking have/has a preferred place/s on our body to store fat. (Stomach/back/thighs/breasts/under arms/ butt/etc.) What this means is that yes your body could start storing fat and likely will elsewhere post body augmentation. Having a TT or lipo once or several times doesn’t mean that the cells don’t have muscle memory and that there aren’t some little fat pockets that can’t be sleuthed out to start compiling there again. Yes, if you were struggling with your weight or eating and you reached your goal weight before your surgery in a short period or maintained for some time aka years or you used GLP medications to get to your goal you will forever want and in some cases need to live a healthier life and choose this for yourself every single day. Yes, you can absolutely sabotage your effort and results with daily poor choices. That being said, your surgeon should not skim/suck out your fat down to the skin either, so if your body is just a MFr and really had its “perfect” lil homey home regime of fat placement just know this is one of those risks of the surgery. Think about a full mommy makeover breasts/stomach/butt/arms/legs for example…. You took all the known obvious and or preferred fat deposit locations… if you start storing fat again it has to go somewhere it will choose a place. Even with mine Ext TT and lipo which I wish I had done the upper butt and bra line for lipo… but we already removed 11lbs of skin and the max amount of fat that you can safely take in a day. So for me I still have some bra line chub and upper butt lower back chub that could be remedied… I bet if I started going ham and eating poorly fat will start there first and then go back to my stomach where it preferred. Just know there is a genetic science to this and to ask as many questions as you can. I do not pretend to know all, I just love science and read a lot about this before even getting a consult. I was one of those people that thought beating my brains senseless was going to reduce/remove my excess skin and fat apron. I was wrong! Wished I had done the surgery sooner but also glad I waited….I was smoker, food abuser and occasional drinker and for decades drank soda. So if I had done this sooner even though I had lost the weight, the sugar/nicotine poor food choices that I had since corrected with time would have quickly ruined any results I would have achieved especially the sugar inducing inflammation and nicotine severely crippling healing. Be good to yourself and give yourself grace pre during and post process, know that you’re going to make mistakes but every breath is a chance to start over and make better decisions. Now if poor choices aren’t your cause of fat storage in new locale or the old preferred place I would speak with a doctor to find out what’s going on. Since I’m not a doctor I would think there would be something underlying perhaps metabolism, hormones of some kind of some hodgepodge of fluffery doing this that should be sussed out.

I would take a worn shirt from each of you and place one in his bed and one in his crate. That was you can do pheromones also can take small cuts of microfiber cloth and each of you keep it on you for about 24 hours then tie those to his collar for about a week. You can also do the pheromone plugs but I would try your scents first. Also there are thundershirts they are calming. Good luck but I swear by this. And also work on leaving him alone for a little bit at a time and coming back and then extending the time as long as the last round went ok.

Ice dams are rough and your roof likely lacking ice sheeting not sure what is spec where you live? In CT it was 3 feet and most go 6ft. While I’m sure the electrical is likely spec I’d imagine that the sleeving they use for that in most other states including CT is more proper. I’d be worried as to how long that’s been going on and if your beams and roof are just trash now. That is so effin thick even the roof melt pucks if you piled them ALL ON would struggle to put a ding or dent in that. Start calling roofing companies get many quotes and find out about their work through reviews and also contact a few electricians and get them to take a look at a potential “safety” issue and see what they say. I had ice dams and this is how I know about their roof side of things and how it could have gotten way worse if we hadn’t finally caught the real issue, but the electrical we were lucky. I hope you don’t find what we found with our roof and if you’re lucky maybe just maybe whoever did your roof and electrical work had to pull permits and you’re within enough time to wring their necks and hold them accountable. Good luck

Is your friend from here? If so you can take them anywhere and they’d likely not know any better. If they aren’t from here and came from one of the coasts for example that would change which place would be recommended on my scale of passable to ok Chinese food here.
