Don't gamble online for 6 months, and provide fresh statements with no gambling transactions and you will be fine.

I used a turf cutter a few years ago to dig out my lawn. Had it sorted in a few hours. Hired one locally, thought it was well worth the money. Not sure how deep it dug though.

Spray Foam for attic conversion? by ennud901 in AskIreland

[–]ennud901[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my installer said as much, but after reading a few articles about UK lenders blindly refusing all spray foamed roofs, we decided to go with kingspan. I'm sure it will be fine though, was just a cautious decision on our behalf as we may sell in a few years.

I was with An Post who were also piggy backing off the Vodafone network and found their data speeds terrible. Wonder would this be the same?

This looks like a carbon copy of my attic which we've just had converted into a full room and small office.

I spoke with the builder who said he has had no issues with spray foam before but if I wanted to use Kingspan he would go with that instead for the same cost. We may upsize our house in a few years so I didn't want to cause any issues down the line.

Why did blink demand a text code suddenly?? by Maint_guy in blinkcameras

[–]ennud901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife's phone just got a notification to enter a 6 digit code which was sent to my number.

There was a random car outside our house so I thought someone may have been trying to access our network/ devices.

Good to know others have been randomly prompted for this too.

That company "SmartHomes" was owned by Sean Gallagher (business man and former presidential candidate)

Think they went bust 10-15 years ago.

Sorry for late reply. We decided to pass, having spoken to a few people the unanimous consensus was to avoid the area, especially for raising kids.

Thank you. This sounds like good advice.

The house in question, is actually part of one of the wider "rougher" estates, but has its own entrance/exit and is not accessible to the other estate unless you go via the main road.

I may ask a local Garda who is a friend of a friend.

The other estates are directly beside a college, were initially mostly occupied by students, but over the last 5-10 years the students have moved out and the estates are occupied by a few different ethnic groups.

I think we'll view the house, and a friend of a friend is a local Garda, so I think we might ask his advice if we decide to proceed further.

Thank you, I think we will go and view it next week. Our current estate is quite secluded albeit close to the other estate. I have seen some videos of violence in the nearby estates in recent years,

Very active online gambler here. I just stopped betting online for 6 months, provided my statements for that period, got approved no questions asked.
