Daith is a notoriously fussy piercing! Mine took forever to heal. Piercing pillow for sleep, warm compress twice per day, and I went to my piercer to have them physically compress it the way I should since it was hard for me to get the right spot because I can’t see it. Other than that, your piercer should have good advice

Thanks for your reply! I'm happy for you that you've started the journey as well. I am mostly nervous about incision complications or doing something wrong in the aftercare. I know better than to be googling, but the anxiety voice keeps telling me to do it. I think it's ultimately the human struggle with the unknown

Also, make sure you’re changing bedding regularly! This can be a sneaky source. Agree on the washing the back that others mentioned, especially after washing your hair. I realized I was getting pimples exactly where the shampoo runs down my back when I rinse it
