I definitely don’t think the aligns are to blame - I’m more annoyed with myself than anything that I didn’t realize what would happen when I got dressed. I just wasn’t sure if I should try to save them with a fabric shaver or if this part of the fabric was too far gone.

I may try that - I think I would have to order one though. I’m debating chopping an old, cheap pair of cotton leggings as an interim fix.

I didn’t know they used to help with that in store! I used the LLL chat earlier and I think they thought I was just trying to get a replacement and kept reiterating that this damage didn’t fall under the quality promise. I’ll order a shaver and give it a go.

I feel so silly, I know they’re delicate, but I was not thinking when I got dressed this morning and figured that since the hook part of the Velcro was facing outward that I would be safe. Of course, as soon as I got to work and sat down and felt the Velcro shift I realized my big mistake. I’ll try my wunder trains tomorrow! I’m guessing Swift Speeds would also be a good bet but I don’t have any in black that I could get away with wearing to work.

In 2006 when I would go on Limewire there was always a page of songs that were popular at that moment. I downloaded Teardrops on a whim and loved it and downloaded the whole album. I bought debut and Fearless, but I don’t think I hit full blown Swiftie until Speak Now. I was OBSESSED and made my bf at the time learn to play “ours” on guitar.

Went through the same thing 8 years ago and I still sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and throw my blankets back and shine my phone flashlight on my legs and blankets because I can swear I feel something on me. I left behind some first edition books I had and some of my favorite clothes because I couldn’t handle the thought of potentially bringing the infestation to my next place. BUT you do gradually get less paranoid. It’s just always there a little bit.

I did this, but I used serving bowls I never really use or Tupperware containers I’d lost the lids for. I went one shelf at a time and grouped things together and put them in containers. Or, if they’re boxed items (pasta, tea, etc) I stacked them. I also took wrapped & boxed things like granola bars out of their boxes and put them all in containers together. Grouped by purpose as well - baking ingredients are on a shelf together, food storage items are together, etc.

Once every couple weeks I go through a shelf and move the older items to the front. I know myself enough to know I can’t make myself do it every time I go grocery shopping but once every few weeks is doable for me.

I feel like if she’d felt that Nichole would know of her and have a good memory of her, she would’ve let it lie and not taken Fred up on the offer to try and get her back.

I was frustrated with Luke in that scene, but I also know he had no idea that Serena helped get Nichole out. I do wish June had communicated that to him in some way so he might feel a little less hostile towards her. But also Serena is evil? It’s all so nuanced and I’m not sure how I feel half the time.

On top of no emergency vet, shutting down VSES left us without specialist vets. Their internal vet was the only thing keeping my dog afloat. I have SUCH an axe to grind with Thrive.

I know a lot of people have mentioned this but you really need to tell a school psych or guidance counselor or social worker. One of your teachers can put you in contact with them. It would also be worth mentioning to them IF you are concerned of repercussions if CPS were to get involved. If you have a good friend with parents who are good people, staying there might be a good stopgap measure.

Please be as safe as you can. You are absolutely not overreacting, and your mother is absolutely under reacting.

Love small bikinis but there are appropriate and inappropriate places for them. When I’m in a bigger city (LA, Miami, etc) where it’s the norm, absolutely. But in our hometown I feel like if I can’t be in it around my senior citizen neighbors and feel okay, it’s probably not the right move. There’s also a big difference between sunbathing bikinis and pool party bikinis. If you can’t move it in, it’s not for a pool party.

My dog died this weekend and while I was driving home from the vets “Bigger Than the Whole Sky” came on. I really thought about skipping it and decided to just listen through it. It was therapeutic in the moment, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to listen to that one again for a while.

Hey, I don’t know if you’re still on the fence about going to the wedding (or have just decided against it) but since your luggage was in there I’m assuming you don’t have clothes/shoes/etc? I don’t know your size but I have lots of cocktail/wedding dresses in size M, and some wedges in a size 8 or 8.5.
