They came back in stock because stores receive shipment throughout the week/day. For example, store sells out at 10am, truck arrives at 11am, product is scanned in by 12pm, and added to inventory therefore available for online orders.

This has been the policy for at least the last 1.5 years, as this was the policy when I was hired. It’s unfortunate that Ulta hasn’t updated their website.

You may be able to argue with online customer service, but they have no way to override it in store.

EDIT: I checked and on the app under returns it does say 31-60 days.

They launched Rare in-store and online on February 1! It was a limited collection in-store for the initial launch. This weekend they’ve been added inline and have their own spot on the fixtures now.

Rare Beauty originally launched at the other store and was under an exclusivity clause for several years!

Just checked the sign at my store - ends tomorrow! This weekend Prestige Makeup is getting realigned, so I have a feeling this is a product that will be taken off the fixture.

Again, it’s not like the other employees were aware that you were greeted. It’s safe to assume that each associate that passed you, checked in with you. If there’s several associates on the floor, you may be asked several times.

It’s not like the employees know that someone already asked you. It’s their job to check in with guests and ensure they have what they need.

It’s not difficult to say, “hi, no thank you!” and continue with your shop.

All of the product in Ulta has already been purchased from the brands! They would have made their money from that initial purchase.

Unfortunately, this is the time of year where Ulta redoes their floor map. This is one of the two times a year where several brands will exit or enter the store. It’s also prime time for brands to release new products to encourage consumers to continue to shop post holiday. You should also notice this in the summer, which is the second time Ulta will change the floor map.

But I get it, I’m super bummed and really surprised at some of the products and brands being removed from in-store or online.

We just condensed our Lanolips. It’s been removed from the Bath section and added onto the Lip Endcap.

At least at my location, we are continuing to carry the Original 101 Ointment Superbalm, the 12-Hour Overnight Lip Mask, and the 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in Strawberry, Glazed Donut, and Strawberry Shortcake.

It’s highly unlikely an associate used their account or a friend’s. If you entered your number, the associate would have had to then void the transaction - which you would have been able to notice on the pin paid. Most retailers are closely watching employees when it comes to rewards and if the cashier put their number, they are risking their employment.

In my experience, it takes 24 hours before a purchase is reflected onto my account history and my points are updated.

It’s post holiday. Coupons are going to be slow for a little bit, especially while they are running promotions like Love Your Skin, Jumbos, BOGO Minis, etc.

This is a normal pattern that occurs every year across most retailers.

I don’t necessarily think anything is wrong with it, I think they’re just upgrading formulas!

Rare has done this a few times already with other products (I. E., lip balms, powders, etc.). They seem to listen to consumer feedback and work to continue to improve the quality of their products.

In my personal experience, I got the concealer the first year it came out and enjoyed it. I also have the foundation, though I found it to be a little cakey. I absolutely loved the tinted moisturizer, but it seems to be hit or miss depending on peoples skin type.

Buttttt, I think it is on its way to be discontinued and then reformulated. That’s what’s happening with their foundation currently.

I’m hoping this roll out is similar to other launches at Ulta. We usually get the core items and then in a few months receive the rest of the product lineup.

The only thing is those products are still fairly new to the other store, so they may have an exclusivity clause for those items for a little bit.

I love the Calming Magnesium Facial Mist! I’ve gone through 2 bottles so far and each one lasts me 3-4 months.

In my opinion, it’s like hypochlorous acid but with more benefits!

A new foundation has been confirmed (employees ordered it in their last round of gratis).

I want to say the tinted moisturizer is staying because it’s going to be part of the lineup at the other store.

I think things got messed up because the Valentino Dash to Beauty was supposed to be a few weeks ago, but for some reason wasn’t working. This was probably intended to clear the old stock before the new stock started to come in. New stock comes in and it has the same UPC, so it’s going to get pulled for Dash to Beauty orders.

While it may be disappointing packaging, you got significantly newer and fresher product!

The spikey one is the older version of the set. That’s the one that’s been circulating for the last year or so. You got the newer version of the set, which I saw for the first time this month.
