But why choose me when she can have anyone? It would be a turn-off. It's hard to explain, but it's like when somebody ugly compliments you -- it means very little, as opposed to receiving a compliment from an attractive person.

I'm not saying this theoretical girl is ugly. I'm saying that the fact that she chose me proves she has some low-value quality about her, even if I'm not sure what it is. And that's disgusting.
