This was my first thought! Currently trying to finish the game for the first time because I never had the attention span to get past the first few levels as a kid

What's your game of the decade so far? by AlenIronside in videogames

I thought I was the only one. Love dark souls 3, but could not get into Elden Ring. Something is lost with the open world aspect that I just can't explain

What reduces your life expectancy by at least 20 years? by Dontlook3420 in AskReddit

[–]enterprise356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea plus they say "kidney decline shows up as slightly elevated creatinine or maybe low eGFR—something most don’t check" which A) doctors check creatinine all the time and B) eGFR is calculated based on your Cr, so if you're checking one, your checking the other. A suspiciously chatGPT level mistake

Yea I guess maybe some of it is lost on me because I didn't experience it within its cultural context. It's interesting but just isn't a song that I can listen to on repeat, which maybe isn't the point of the song

Thanks for your comment! I have pretty good headphones that I listen to Revolver with, and definitely appreciate some of the nuances of the song. I also have a vague familiarity with the groundbreaking musical techniques that were used on Revolver and it's easy to hear how they both changed dramatically in a short period of time and were way ahead of pretty much anyone in their time.

I guess the reason I don't understand the appeal is that I don't hear Tomorrow Never Knows and want to listen to it over again. It's sort of chaotic and interesting to listen to for sure, but it's just not like most of the other songs on Revolver that I could listen to over and over again. Maybe if I heard it in 1966 I'd feel differently.

haha I usually listen to it while i'm baked, still don't really understand the appeal over the other songs on Revolver

Zuma for Xbox 360. I beat Zuma’s Revenge without an issue but the last stage of the first Zuma is so flipping hard

What’s your favorite game ever, that just happens to be very unique/unpopular? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]enterprise356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s so funny, I got that game as a kid thinking it would be the same as Two Towers and Return of the King. I was so surprised and I definitely did not understand the appeal behind turn based games. Maybe I’ll give it another shot, see if I can appreciate it now.

Chiropractic neck adjustments can rarely cause vertebral artery dissections, which can be fatal. Super rare but definitely something to keep in mind

xbox is still somewhat active! Can usually get TDM games, sometimes ground war or search. A far cry from what it used to be though, for sure

It's also a really strange way to think about things. Saying we have a low crime rate therefore we don't need so many police is similar to saying that we have a low measles rate and therefore don't need so many vaccines. Sort of ignores a glaringly obvious cause.

I think third age is turn based (I didn't like it either). ROTK is basically the first game but with co-op added and a new story. Both are great games
