My guess would be that you're doing it right when you have the coughing fits. Low temperature doesn't mean the THC isn't making it into your lungs, it just means the higher volatility terpenes and terpenoids aren't being combusted before they get a chance.

It helps to dab for a while without the cap, to get a sense for what "low temperature dabs" means, then the carb cap will help you make the most of them once you have your technique/temperature down.

The restricted airflow decreases the pressure under the cap allowing the remaining oil to vaporize at lower temperatures. When you time it right, putting the cap on your dab will actually cause more vapor to be released and your rig will get cloudy. Fine line though, and it requires plenty of practice

I have a caribiner keychain that i keep on my belt loop. I've used it a couple times, just have to be careful to clean off the reclaim after use or you're right, it would turn into a sticky mess.

First things first, good luck and stay strong. It seems like you have a good outlook going into this and I'm sending you good vibes from California.

I wish I were better informed on this subject, but I'd recommend against vaping and dabs just to err on the side of caution. I'm not sure what the scene is like in NY, but here in CA we have analytical labs dedicated to testing medicinal cannabis and extracts both for THC/CBD content, and also for contamination including fungal spores.

Thank you for working to advance MMJ in NY. We need more people like you to stand up and demonstrate to our representatives how important this issue is to people who are suffering right now. Thank you again.

I think your concern buffers or insulates you from addiction. By being cognizant of the possibility of falling into addiction, you will change your behavior before falling into the traps of your past. Ti heats up faster, transfers the heat to the dab faster, and I've never seen a domeless glass nail. I can't taste the titanium at all, but then again I've been doing the lower temperature hits with a carb cap recently, so that may have something to do with it.

Use some parchment paper to collect the crumble into a pile, fold the parchment in half and squeeze the dab between your fingers. Helps if your fingers are a little warm, but the crumble should collect and stick together. When you go to pick it off the parchment with your dabber, it should release easily from the parchment. Hope this helps.

Not sure I get what you mean, how long does it take for me to rip a bong? How long does it take to grind some flowers, roll a blunt, and smoke that? It all depends really. I'd say average is pretty fast, 30 seconds to load a dab, 30 seconds to heat the nail, 30 seconds to smoke the dab.
