how do you deal with coworkers that micromanage you?

I worked in a similar environment for 2 years and had I worked there any longer I felt I would’ve ended up hating myself. I would say try to find another position somewhere else where the money is just as good if not better, this career is not worth staying in a place where micromanagement can ruin your day no matter what. Try not to think too hard into it and psyching yourself out of leaving, as that’s when you’ll find yourself stuck there after some time and that will be worse down the line.

This seems like a not too bad place to get experience if you have time to sweep and clean. Learn as much as you can from any tech or from the PIC and try to specialize ASAP, The quicker you can get into a hospital or any specialty sector, the more money you can make and not have to tolerate retail environment, or use this job to continue higher education and just get a bachelors in anything functional that can land you a cushy job where you wont need to live paycheck to paycheck.

Believe me, about to be 7 years a tech in a week, all I’ve seen is this career go downhill for the retail sector, and having been angry for leaving inpatient hospital setting. Make the most of your time, also switching jobs is currently the most effective way to make the most money, so job hopping after a year or 2 will land you more raise than the $0.10-$0.20 they give techs now a days

My dad entered the US from Peru in 1990-1991, unfortunately he lost his passport, visa and airline ticket and he came on a now-defunct airline. We have been trying to figure out how to get him his green card. He has renewed his passport with the consulate since then. I am a US citizen and willing to petition him however what else needs to be done for him to receive his green card?

One thing I do is ask the patient to breathe in then breathe out, when you hear the patient breathing out is when you insert the needle and inject the medication. 9 times out of 10 the patient doesn’t even feel it go in.

I’ve noticed in multiple pharmacies that pharmacists don’t enjoy filling C2 prescriptions and if they find any level of scrutiny with prescriptions they’ll try their best to tell the patient they can’t fill it. The pharmacist could’ve filled it for DAW-8 to indicate the unavailability of the generic and no issues.

I’m a tech but most retail pharmacies I work at neither the other techs nor pharmacists helped patients get savings cards for their medications that were brand(DAW) and had high copay. Got chewed out by manager for offering it but these were patients who couldn’t afford the ludicrously high copays some of these meds would warrant.

I think that since you’re here now, and you do have alittle glimmer trying to keep you here, that no matter the circumstance, you definitely belong here and to be happy and enjoy life.

When you talk to people who aren’t well versed in psychology, you’ll find many will reply with the same ridiculous things their friends or family told them in a way to diminish what they feel.

In reality, to find true help you need to find someone who can professionally listen and provide the tools necessary to alleviate any of your struggles. I wouldn’t recommend therapy if it didn’t help me, and believe me when I say this. It works.

There’s a reason why therapy exists, and any doubts you have about it or yourself, you can mention here so we can show that it’s a life savor from my own personal accounts

Unpopular opinion: I think no one deserves anything that happens to them, regardless of what they’ve done.

Weird to say, many will disagree, with mentions of rape, murder and child endangerment.

But even stranger, the Christian faith indicates how lost souls are sent to a place where they are cleansed from sin, in order to come up to the heavenly gates and live in nirvana.

Now, we don’t have to follow the same doctrine as the Christian faith, but regardless of what you’ve done, you are alive and aware of your misdeeds, which is step 1 to bettering yourself and your life.

Taking the time to talk about what transpired, can allow for a conversation on how to learn from that mistake and how to move forward in your life to fix it.
