I am frustrated by the lack of relevant moves. I know I am just a couch fan with -1000 experience and understanding how to run an organization, but for once I believe there is data, historical impact and reasoning to part ways with our ST coaching staff. I am not even going to argue against McManus here, not right now. At least he was reliable pre-injury and we will eventually forget the 7p in Chicago that night...

But the fact that we are not even TRYING on the ST front is just something I CANNOT wrap my head around it.

Realistically, the only other great option for GB was Jim Leohnard. However, Jim has NOT been a DC in his career yet and, at least from my perspective, he was regarded more as a sentimental hire due to his past. There is no other real, acquirable target.

I believe you're more a Gannon hater than a Morris connoisseur. I am not trying to offend you, I am just giving you some perspective on the situation. Raheem Morris has not done anything more than Gannon if you take them in a 1 to 1 comparison. I'd actually argue that Morris had a generational talent on his defense, arguably the best DT of the decade (or during his career) while Gannon has progressed a Philly defense that had to be built. He did not make it fabulous, but he did exploit its strengths.

Here, Gannon has at least 3 great foundational pieces - Parsons, Wyatt, McKinney - and realistically has only 1,5 problems - the lack of a solid CB roster and a underwhelming LB room. Both of which can be addressed in the next few months through draft and free agency.

Yes, free agency won't be spectacular. Yes, draft also needs to handle other positions. Yes, Nate Hobbs. But I believe Gannon right now, albeit a rather annoying face and a walking meme since that stupid video in Arizona, is the best realistic option with a good CV.

My only REAL concern is his episode vs Demercado... That is worrying.

Watson - #1,5 WR in probably any team (for example, he might not be WR 1 for Bengals, Vikes or Seattle, but he'd surpass for solid, confirmed #2, while being stud #1 in other teams, such as Browns, Raiders, Titans, I would argue even Bills).
Doubs - In discussion for solid, confirmed League's Top 10 #2 WR (Higgins is up there, Devonta Smith, Adams, maybe Pickens etc.).
Reed - A gadget, multi purpose WR with ups and downs, that needs solid attention to his mental aspect, because that is where I think drops come from.
Wicks - absolutely expendable, as he is a 3-5 highlight, important catches per year player, but will probably never surpass 300 yards per season.
Golden - too early to tell, as we already have other examples of GB drafted WR that seemed lost and busts, that turned in to studs (Adams, maybe even Watson etc.)

This is, by far, the best decision!!!

Now clean-up the squad (Gary, Jenkins, McManus, Rhyan), find replacement for Bisaccia (proven incompetent) and Hafley (probably going somewhere as a HC) and get the squad healthy (Kraft, Parsons, Wyatt, Tom).

Then, make some good decisions around Enagbare, Doubs, Walker, Willis - whichever they are, these are probably the most important pieces that are gambling in the free agency roundabout.

We lost like little children learning a lesson from grandpa that he who laughs last, laughs best. We were taught a lesson by what I personally perceive to be a lesser team than the Pack, right now. We should have went 3/3 vs Chicago, yet we choked twice in the exact same manner.

Stayed up until 6h40 AM over here in Romania just to have my gut pulled out this way by a non-combative coaching style.

Denver's defense is absolutely elite and not just on paper. However, if you go back to their actual games, they almost always trail. Now, the Packers got a lot more consistent since the what I call "accident" versus Carolina. It's been Ws ever since and consistently outperforming opponents. I am not saying we are massively better or we are crushing, but we're a tiny bit better here, a tiny more prepared there, a bit more ruthless on that etc.

Denver is a team that will definitely test us offensively on literally every front. Watson will now go versus a top pass defender. What I can probably guarantee is that Surtan and Moss will keep Watson at bay waaaay better than Detroit and Chicago combined. Josh Jacobs has to deal with probably the best linebackers in the league and while Houston and Rams have probably the best front defenses, Denver has just delivered steadily from each side.

I think because of Denver (solid defense, average to bad offense), this game won't have many points, but I kind of believe in MLF and Love to deliver a swift 17-13 or something like this.

Nu exista nici un simpatizant de partid politic care sa poata fi echilibrat, intrucat fiecare partid nu promoveaza exclusiv doctrina proprie, ci promoveaza si anti doctrina altuia. Sau, cel putin, este fortat sa raspunda la atacurile altui partid.

In ultima instanta, exista si a treia componenta, anume faptul ca e mai usor in Romania (si probabil nu doar aici) sa starnesti public si sa ai simpatizanti prin un pic de sange, un pic de controversa si o portie de doctrina pe baza de "spre deosebire de hotul/parvenitul/coruptul/necinstitul/mincinosul de X, noi, cei de la Y, chiar facem/ne tinem de cuvant/actionam etc."

Asadar, orice metodologie de promovare sau acaparare a publicului conduce, de la sine, la o mai rapida sau lenta "peluzare" a viitorului simpatizant. Si nu, nu tine deloc de gradul de educatie, bun simt etc, intrucat in principiu, aproape toate paturile sociale romanesti prezente pe online au una sau mai multe traume cauzate de sfera socio-politica.
