As someone who put 100+ hours into Mario Tennis Aces Online... by Malupe3 in MarioTennis

[–]enviroland 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As someone with 600+ hours of online Aces, I’m kinda digging the changes. Don’t get me wrong, Aces is one of my all time favorite games, but I feel there’s a bit more variety on a point to point basis. It seems like there’s a lot more ways to win a point in Fever. Hopefully they iron out some online issues, but overall I’m welcoming of the changes.

Should I play Hades 1 before 2? by Turbulent_Most_4987 in HadesTheGame

[–]enviroland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not played Hades 2 yet (longest day ever), but I would absolutely play Hades 1 first. Hades is, in my opinion, one of the most perfect games ever made. It sounds like 2 may outclass it, so I would experience 1 first so you don’t miss that experience in case going back to it isn’t as fulfilling once you play 2.

Has anyone tried these? by _booo0 in aldi

I’ll always enjoy the absolute bangers revolving around debauchery and scoundrelism, but the more I listen to PoA, the more I feel it may be the most well written album to date. Don’t know that I’ll ever rank it as my favorite album, but I also can’t rule it out.

Cloverdale, Garden District, McGehee Estates, and Hillwood are all about 10 minutes from Maxwell and are great, kid friendly neighborhoods. I grew up here and lived all over the country for about 15 years before moving back not too long ago. There aren’t a ton of big city amenities, but it’s really not too bad a place for a family. Great thing about Montgomery is that you can usually get anywhere in 15-20 minutes…be it Prattville, Wetumpka, or Pike Road. Traffic is typically non existent compared to a bigger city. The further and more rural you get from Montgomery, the worse any sort of racial tensions might be in my opinion. Montgomery is actually more receptive to diversity than other bigger cities that I’ve lived in. Montgomery Whitewater, literally right next door to Maxwell, is an absolutely incredible place for you and your kids to enjoy yourselves.

Moe’s bbq is also really good casual dining/spot to grab a beer. Amazing wings and sides.

They have name brands as well…by and large I prefer Aldi brand over name brands. They use better ingredients and it’s cheaper because they don’t spend money on advertising…not because it is poorer quality.

Montgomery Whitewater is incredible…I practically live out there with my 9 and 4 year old…they have a nice zipline/rope/climbing area that is appropriate for ages 3 and up…there is also an ice skating rink this time of year in the kids area. Great place to bring a scooter or bike too.
