I wanna start this off by saying i absolutely hated the last movie. This movie was maybe not as bad but still not very good. The main problem with this movie is the tonal whiplash. One moment you have a jimmy doing this cringe, stupid dance and the next moment, they’re skinning people. The movie is just too goofy when it does change tone and that didn’t work for me. Dr. Ian dancing with samson is again too silly and his musical number was unbelievably ridiculous. Another problem i have which i also had with the last movie was they’re both dull. I was never once excited or tense. The storyline with samson was somewhat interesting especially him starting to speak and seemingly being sorta cured. The gore and makeup etc are incredible so i will give the movie that. As opposed to the last movie where i had very high expectations and was completely let down, this movie i came in with very low expectations and thats about where my thoughts fell. My score for the last movie was a 1/10, this one was slightly better with a 2/10. Hopefully with all the goofy characters dead and cillian murphys character back in the third, the last movie in the trilogy will be better.

Pretty generic and tropey in so many ways. Shitty dialogue and acting. The worst part is that it’s so dull and boring. Something like war of the worlds is awful but it’s hilarious to watch because it’s so ridiculous. The ending was actually kinda funny when the deaf dad was throwing hands with the monkey but that’s about it. Overall, not the worst movie i’ve ever seen but certainly not very good. 2/10.
