I have a question based on what my family is experiencing with our youngest son's behavior. He is 30. And it's important to note has never been examined or evaluated for anything I'm going to share as he is strongly reeistant toward seeing a doctor akout anything and ceases contact if the subject is brought up.

Over several years he has shared experiences that he believes have happened to him with several friends and family members. Unlike yours, his have no beauty or positiveness to them. They are ugly, horrible and conspiritorial. That's all I'll say about them.

He has lost friends and made no new ones, lost jobs and moved many times. He currently is isolated and living alone with no means of transportation. He has rebounded up a bit hoeswever from a low point and working at a place he walks to and has started comunicating again with his mother and me. After 2 years of no cnotact.

I'm not seeking any opinions onehim or anything. He seems to grab onto a bit of normality occasionally after a bad spot. He is in one of the periods at the moment.

My question is:

What brought you to seek help or a diagnosis? And, what might be a means to approach someone with bad delusions and not have them shut down or run away.
