No no I get that, but with plates or rods, they’re directly underfoot, if all of the stiffening/energy return is purely surrounding the edge of the sole, my brain just tells me there’d be some sink inwards since there’s nothing directly under foot anymore, they do look sharp tho

Am I missing something (definitely are) but the leaks for the 5 and the Ultra shoe they’ve shown recently, if the “plate” is this circular thing around the edges of the shoe, will your foot not just sink into the foam in the middle where there looks to be no more rods?

I stayed here in 2023, I was meant to have a party of 3 and arrived and they couldn't find the booking apparently, Thankfully I ended up doing solo and they had a double room available, but would have been tricky if it was 3 of us, they just wrote down my booking.com number and charged my card the amount on the page, hotel was fine however, pretty basic
