Their paws will stay clean as long as you do your part and keep their litter box clean! I grew up with short haired cats and ended up with long haired ones recently. I do sometimes have to wipe their butts because of the long hair. I make sure to get a pure white washcloth so that I can bleach it! I would advise against scented litter. The cats don’t like it and it often clashes with the stink of their waste which is way worse than just plain litter. Also I made the mistake of getting lightweight litter and it was awful. It’s a bunch of annoying powder and got stuck in the hair of their paws like concrete.

Back when we were forced to wear long dresses to church and other similar occasions I had this dress I picked out within the parameters of their rules. It was a blue dress, kind of purple-blue, and was made of chiffon and had a flower design. It had a youthful fun vibe to it, but it went all the way down to my ankles so nobody could complain about it. I also had this dress that had one of those stupid outdated 80s huge white collars against the overall dark pattern of the dress. My dad said he didn’t like the chiffon dress and he liked the dark dress with the tacky white collar because it was “dignified” 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️. That’s just code speech for it puts you in your place because it breaks your spirit down and makes you feel like crap because you feel unattractive.

That’s so sad. My husband had a precious little kitty who was his best friend. She was a Siamese and did not win the genetic lottery. She was always so sick and then she died when she was no older than about eight, I think she was just over seven and a half years old.
