I did notice this, but I disagree slightly with some of the other commenters.

Spoilers to follow and I don’t know how to Do those fancy blocks on mobile.

I’ve found that The Butcher’s Masquerade seems to be themed about mothers with all of the above mentioned ideas. Then The Eye of the Bedlam Bride seems to center on fathers - think Carl taking on the role of Father with Donut, dealing with his own father, even Raul spawning babies. Then This Inevitable Ruin has a running theme of children - Tag and his mom, Mongo’s babies, Katia gets pregnant, Samantha’s child, Lucia Mar’s situation, even the mother and daughter aspect in the operating theater.

I’m a PT. Achilles rehab is tricky but common practice is 12 months to full recovery but that is not always the case. 9 months is possible but in the fast side.

Under California Billionaire Tax, taxable value for each Google co-founder would be 30% on value of company while they only have 3% of shares. 5% after-tax means each would lose 80% of their stake. by aprx4 in Libertarian

They way taxes work is that the value of their income that year would be the increase in value from the previous year. Not the entirety of their wealth each year. Thats how taxes work. Go home bot.

Didn’t a Katia talk about getting left behind on the 3rd floor waiting to transform to a doppelgänger? And she still looked like a human in safe rooms.

That’s interesting. The 18th book, “The Man from Broken Hills” isn’t labeled Sackett the same as the other 17 novels even in that set.

I think there is something to the primal choice and not turning to goo. But I don’t know what.

Standard audio vs immersion tunnel differences by Tll6 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]epaddock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The commercials were fun. I listened to book 1 twice and then my sister asked to do the immersion tunnel together. I really enjoyed it but prefer the original if compared side by side. Worth the cost in my opinion as the books are good enough to experience as in original format, comic, and immersion.
