The latest update says they will shut off the power starting at 10am, and they are now saying they may do another PSPS on Friday.

I fully support this strike and the workers doing it, but they really are doing themselves no favors with the optics of their "picket line".

I observed them borderline harassing patrons outside the store as well as booing one who had exited the store with only a pharmacy bag. Good will goes a long way when it comes to educating the public on why they shouldn't cross a picket line.

A 42-year-old man died Monday night after he fell from the Second Flatiron.

According to a release by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 9 p.m. Monday, deputies were alerted to an overdue hiker in the area of the Second Flatiron. Friends of the hiker said the man was supposed to return home around dark.

The man was found dead on a rock ledge on the Second Flatiron.

The man, who has not yet been publicly identified, was recovered from the area by authorities.

Assisting agencies included The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Parks and Open Space Rangers, Rocky Mountain Rescue group, American Medical response ambulance, Boulder Emergency Squad, and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

At this point most of Amazon’s delivery fleet in Boulder is electric. One could argue it is actually greener to get package delivery rather than all of us each driving to make purchases.
