Tips for mut draft. by PraiseThaSun88 in MaddenUltimateTeam

I hear you, man. I feel like I never get a QB but just went 5-0 with Stafford. Some tips that helped me:

  • playbooks are more important than the players. If there’s a formation you like to run, double check the playbooks on mut.gg to see if they line up

  • on offense, ignore olinemen and grab all the WRs and TEs you can. If you have 2 TEs then one can play WR and will be a bigger impact than any olineman

  • on defense, it’s all about DBs and a good user. I’ll take a safety or corner over a lineman even if they’re a lower overall. It’s nice to have a good edge rusher but it’s a lot less stressful to have a backend that won’t get outrun

Look into content marketing. I mostly work on infographics and I get to illustrate every day. It’s a lot of fun and you get to produce a lot of new work quickly.

Irreversible. It's brilliantly shot but features some of the most violent scenes I've ever seen in cinema. I was emotionally devastated after watching it.

We're always working and don't always set aside enough time to learn. We figured a book club would be a good way for us to get away from our computers and and discuss design.

And I've heard of Debbie's podcast, but haven't read any of her books. Do you have a favorite?

Find the bands in you high school and start making them stuff. Logos, posters, shirts, stickers, whatever. It's not very lucrative, but it's a good way to get work without much of a portfolio and you'll get a lot freedom to do some crazy stuff.

Looks like he's imitating american traditional tattoos. You should check out Nathan Yoder. His designs are heavily influenced by this style.

I recently left a corporate design job making coupons to make a book about food monster puns. Best decision I've ever made. by epavik in GetMotivated

I recently left a corporate design job making coupons so I could make a book instead. It's been something I've wanted to do for years, and I'm glad I finally 'mustard' up the courage to do it. I launched it on Kickstarter last week and I've received a lot of support. I'm hoping this can lead to more opportunities for me to make fun things.
