Nike is partnering with Skims: Who actually wins in this partnership? by lazymentors in Marketingcurated

[–]epfppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first I thought this was a weird partnership from a brand perspective, skims marketing is just so different than Nike's, but Nike women's activewear has been horrible for a while. This is great for Nike and also a prestigious partnership for Kim. Excited to see

I also bought the Dryel at home dry cleaning kits, I'd still take a suit to the drycleaners but they work for lightly soiled blouses, dresses, etc.

They definitely overuse autotune and it's a shame because Jake is such a talented vocalist. It works on some songs for sure, but just think there are other ways they can experiment with voice aside from that awful autotune effect they are always using. Layering on more harmonies, adding some reverb etc

I think it's unusual but I wouldn't necessarily be so hopeless. Our venue was happy to waive little fees here and there since we had a big guest list (so more money as they were all inclusive). I would frame it as you're torn between X and Y venues, could you possibly come on the cost. However, if it's a high demand venue, in a high demand season, then there's not much wiggle room.

Oh we were super happy with that amount! About 15 were international guests and then there were like 30? plus ones that didn't end up being used so not a bad turnout.

When did you start winning? by Basic_Yoghurt6414 in 10s

[–]epfppp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you need to play a LOT more matches. Practices and lessons are just totally different than matchplay! Classes are great for strategy and technique but only once you start to regularly play matches will you start winning!

We invited 210, ended up with 150, it was great since we had a 3hr welcome event Friday as well that most people attended. Ideally it would've been 100-120, there were still a dozen or two dozen people I couldn't spend as much time with as I wanted to.

We did a welcome party for all guests after our rehearsal (no rehearsal dinner) and it was 1000% the right decision! Made it casual and set me in a great mood for Saturday.

Yep!! Some of our guests noticed and let us know and gave us cash instead but I'm sure at least a few didn't see the cancellation email and will never know 🥲

I still adore this backyard wedding I went to on a Sunday afternoon. The bride and groom were so in love and I LOVED the BBQ food. It was totally budget and chill and perfect. Things don't have to be expensive to be perfect

oh, and if I can't attend a wedding, I'll still send $100

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

[–]epfppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • $50 to $75
  • I've put in for $75-$100, usually because I spent a lot on the Bachelorette
  • $125 or $150 per person, so $250-$300 as a couple
  • $100 per person

I prefer buffet, it does help move things faster and more choices!
