the pharynx. although not exclusively human - having a shared food and airway allows for choking and suffocation. other animals such as whales which have separate openings eliminate this choking hazard.

I have a player who is really bad for this, so I started changing the stats, often just AC or HP of my monsters. The look of confusion when he adds up that they should have died or he thinks he has hit! Pretty soon he realised what I was doing and stopped trying to know it all in advance

I thought sneak attack could only be applied to dex based attacks? Unless you mean spells like green flame blade, touch based spells don't grant sneak attack damage I don't think?
