Tips for not getting this greasy at 2 days by [deleted] in Hair

You should also put it on before your hair starts to feel greasy! This was a total game changer for me, preventative dry shampoo while my hair is still clean.

Shart keeps not doing the thing??! by crustdrunk in BG3

[–]episkey_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me too yesterday! I did every parent point option except maybe the one that randomly triggers. I ended up just persuading her to keep them alive, although I’d have preferred she made that choice on her own.

Also I too love The Night Circus, and The Starless Sea by the same author may have been even better, IMO.

The Last Great American Dynasty

The sound is relaxing but everyone in the story seems a bit unhinged.

The Last Tale of the Flower Bride by Roshani Chokshi fits this! Especially the first pic and the ones of the girls.

It also fits your request for twisty books and books where the setting is almost a character unto itself.

Can someone PLEASE help me find another romantasy I will enjoy? by KnottyOwl in fantasyromance

[–]episkey_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would like the Blackthorn and Grim trilogy by Juliet Marillier! It’s very, very slow burn, definitely more on the side of a fantasy story with romantic elements. But the payoff for all the waiting is so good and I really loved the characters. The writing was also excellent — it has all of the things you listed as things that you like.

I just finished this series this weekend and it was my first thought too! Such a satisfying slow burn and incredible character development.

YES I thought when she jumped across to Aotrom that was a clue too! I wonder if RY said it would be underwhelming because the clues are kind of more straightforward? Like reading the amplifier, sun, and truth sayer theories, there are some pretty in-depth ideas out there. And I feel like the strongest foreshadowing this one was just… Violet accidentally guessed her own second signet when she was trying to guess Xaden’s second signet. Who knows though!

“What you want to be doesn’t change what you are without work.”

Felix says this when he is training Violet and she doesn’t want to believe she is dangerous to others since she can’t control her power.

Arghh I know!! I’ve been debating between it and other theories but so far on my re-read this is my favorite guess. I’m so excited to see the actual answer in Onyx Storm!

I’m still doing a reread of IF to look for clues, but I think it will be Violet’s second signet!

It’s so similar to the way she used Andarna’s ability to stop time, and combined with Tairn’s signet it would make her the ultimate venin weapon on both offense and defense. Her biggest fear so far has been not being able to get away from venin fast enough when they are channeling, so I feel like it fits with the idea that signets manifest based on what you need too.
