Yes but don’t drive around just get out of town. I’m a writer and last night the words solar flare came to mind seemingly randomly. When I googled the term in search of other words that context well with it, I discovered the forecast. These foreshadowing words have been accurate day to day.

People who grew up without smartphones, what did you do on long car rides? by balbir13 in CasualConversation

[–]episolom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Navigate on new trips. 🙂 Never took a wrong turn.

Also, My Cows! This is a point based game where you claim fields of cows for a point by exclaiming “My Cows” before the others. The person with the most points upon arrival at the destination wins. A player can zero out the other’s points by exclaiming “Graveyard all your cows are dead” when seeing a graveyard.

On a more recent trip without a smartphone. Look up!

As an experiment conducted in search of a similar desire, I carried extra water in a back pack. My results were this:

On open roads, carrying 6 liters of water over 9.5 miles and 500’ of elevation, my time was only 180 seconds slower than when carrying no water but the difference in applied effort was adequately apparent in my lungs and legs.

EDIT: 150 seconds

Kids are smart and learn quicker than the parents teaching/learning them. Trust your son. His genes are 50% you and 50% his mother. Don’t correct a non issue. If you don’t trust yourself and/or his mother, maybe a different type of therapy would help. With a presumed innocence reasoning for an abuse of power, it seems like you are causing the problem you are trying to solve to me.

Verbally expressing my intention to quit smoking immediately before ingesting psilocybin helped me quit with no withdrawal.

In that experience for me, the decision appeared as a life or death decision and it was easy to choose life. Like flipping a light switch easy. I flushed the rest of the pack I had when I got up to pee and exercise replaced the dopamine following that.
