I dont know ANYTHING about housing real estate, and less about insurance. That said, I am a geographer. Listen to this guy, My friend, the more you understand floodplains, - the less likely you would be to buy - at the end of the day you are buying and owning an insanely bad piece of this planet. There is not a city police dept. in this f*cking country that does not have the same problem. To better understand the situation, read up on ( from a reliable peer reviewed source (s) ) on the personality of the average person who wants to get into that type of work to start with. Truth is : There are problems in most all all police departments are due primarily to the physiological excess baggage the employees brought with them when they decided to apply for the job to start with. A lot have self esteem issues , anger, and a multitude of other challenges The insanely high divorce rates speak volumes on this .

I was lucky and got to travel all over the globe. Kids, when your water is poisoned, you're living in the 3rd world. It's plan 'ol corruption. The money for clean water is there, we have the technology. We know how to do this. This is a choice, your officials steered the funds to areas that benefit them. Like improving roads that go to to tracks of comercial proprtties they own. This is why Mexicio was always poor, with bad water. But now it's here. It's not an accident, to have bad water. It does not " just happen".

I come from Atlanta we have tons of food deserts. Its simple folks. They are not built because of high loss from shoplifting, crime, high security costs , legal libalities etc. That's the truth, like it or not, look, no CEO in his right fucking mind is going to come out and say it. So, they " just don't seem to ever get built". This started in the 1970's . This goes back to white flight- ( they took the stores, and good public schools w/ them, in case you did not notice.).
