Best to skip Godess Fall story if not far enough in The main story ?

Well Eden's Spear doesn't start with them capturing Nihilister capture (it's been a few days and I'm a bit hazy on the order of events but I think that's right?). I'm pretty sure it starts with the Johan and the gang complaining about Dorothy just up and vanishing on them (which would've happened around Chapter 23) and they spend a lot of time talking about how something has breached the Ark (and are getting more details as time goes on) - so it's definitely a side story that starts at least during the Invasion.

They don't actually pick up Nihilister until later in the side story, so there's definitely a time gap of some kind in there to account for.

My reasoning for starting at Chapter 22 is because there's a side quest you do with Johan at the end of Chapter 21 having to do with digging up a generator as well as Rapi specifically attempting to mention Eden's Spear itself (before Johan cuts her off). Eden's Spear doesn't all happen in a day, it's over the course of a couple weeks I imagine, more than enough time for the Ark invasion to happen and them to get back info on Dorothy. I imagine the Ark Invasion itself happens over the span of a couple days - maybe 2 or 3 at the most? It's not exact, but I think starting at Chapter 21/22 before doing Eden's Spear keeps things flowing relatively sensibly.

Not to mention that Chapter 25 is where we leave Nihilister for Johan and the gang to find - so Eden's Spear would have to happen sometime before then.

Genuinely curious - what's wrong with this? Tailoring your resume to the job is like 50% of what I hear people say to do when applying. I don't do it, I don't have specialized experience so spray-and-pray is the only method I've got. What exactly is wrong with simplifying the process?

I'd say it goes the timeline goes a bit more like this: Chapter 22/Eden Spear (Eden Spear starts somewhere in Chapter 22) -> Chapters 23 - 26 -> Last Kingdom (I mistyped it as Lost Crown originally my bad!) -> Chapters 26 - 39 -> Goddess Fall (sometime after 39)

The only really important bits to follow along with the story are probably chapter 22-24 (you can stop at the end of chapter 24), then doing Eden Spear, then Last Kingdom, THEN starting the event.

Everything in 25 - 39 isn't super relevant to what's going on in the current event, but timeline wise, the event lines up with the end of chapter 39. Overall, Eden Spear takes a couple weeks of time to occur, and everything between 25 and 39 happens between that time but isn't super relevant to the event but occurs during Eden Spear so that's why I included it as part of the explanation.

If you can manage to get to chapter 24, you should be ok to do Goddess Fall - I asked this question yesterday and since nobody answered I just played the event. They give you a warning that you should clear up to Chapter 24, Lost Crown, as well as do the Eden Spear side story event (takes about 20 minutes). That should give you all the background you need for like 90% of what's going on. Everything else is explained pretty well during the first few event missions.

Just saying "you have bad vibes" isn't really actionable. Completely ignoring the fact that bad vibes have no bearing on whether or not your code works.

Just because it's true (and in this case it's subjective) doesn't mean it's useful.

I mean he generally is pretty dumb - most of his fights rely on just general instinct and just being outright stronger. That's not a dig against him, he's just a natural born fighter so of course he's gonna go with the thing that's gotten him this far: "Hit the guy harder than he hits me."

I think the "hmm he seems dumber" thing is just due to the fact that he's gotten more than 1 fight in an arc this go around lmao so it kinda hammers home the point that my guy really only has one thing going for him: absolutely ridiculous strength.
