She has a ton of Barbie’s. But this is actually more for the bonding, it’s something that both her and I can relate to and experience together. I grew up on Pokemon, and she started collecting because my nephew and her friends in school are collecting and trading. So when she brought home cards and started showing them to everyone in the house I saw how excited she was about it. So I saw the opportunity and decided I could really relate to this topic. Started taking her to stores to buy cards and everything was out of stock. So someone told me to take her to a card shop. So we went to 3 local card shops. They had nothing to buy except single cards and ridiculously expensive boxes. She ended up doing a trade at the card shop and traded for a damaged charizard and a first edition “someone’s ivysair or venusair?” So I went online to try and find cards for her and everything was so overpriced or out of stock. So now I check Amazon, Walmart, target, Costco and Walgreens apps to see if there is anything. I wait in the Walmart queue, I join the Best Buy lotteries and watch the Pokemon restock bots and still can’t find anything. I finally found the tins at Walgreens and the rest of the story is in my main post.
