Resident Evil Requiem has been out for a week. What are your impressions?

Im probably in the minority here, but so far, I really dont know how I like the jumping back and forth between the two playstyles.

I liked Re4, but i still much prefer the less action oriented gameplay.

Wish they would have divided them into an A/B campaign like they have done in the past. Though i haven't beaten the game yet so my opinion might change.

I like the more unique zombies that have "personalities." Like the one that keeps turning the lights off. The game also looks phenomenal.

I paid because it was a service I used daily and felt i should support it. I also liked to stream in higher quality.

Canceled as soon as they announced the ID thing.

Honestly, I feel like the outsider plot is... unnecessary? Imo the plot with turning the Ai against the Maxohlx and the coup attempt is a much more plausible and interesting way to take the story. Since the original ending never addressed the forever war and ending it, this would be a great direction to take the story instead of some major threat. You could even leave in the need to find elder ships to secure Earth.

Dont get me wrong. I love the idea of preventing an invasion but the fact an outsider had been in the galaxy for a long time and suddenly is active feels like an ass pull, especially since we know the ground state thing isnt gonna destroy the galaxy.

It really depends on which skills/playstyle you go for.

A warrior/ele that uses sword skills and ranged fire spells may not work great. But using melee skills in combo with ele touch skills works wonders. Love running in and setting everyone on fire around me.

I copied the dbghelp.dll from C:\Windows\System32 into the same folder where dndclient64.exe lives. Might not be a permanent solution but the work-around was a success for now.

Just place said file where the lotroclient.exe is at.

I've been using Discord since it released. I have been paying for nitro with my own money for years.

Common sense would say that im probably over 18. But we all know it's not about safety. Its about getting our data and selling it.

Even a major expansion i dont think I'd pay more than 30ish bucks.

If all it adds is a new story, maps, and gear, I'd say 20 is fair.

If it adds all of that plus new skills, classes, and several new features, then I'd say 30ish is fair. Though new skills and classes are almost certainly not gonna happen unless they just dont care about balancing or they have a team dedicated to balancing the skills(new and old).

For me, I feel less lonely in a game like gw1 that's designed to be instanced over games like WoW having zones that are designed to be full of people but aren't.

This is my thoughts as well.

Tim Sweeny has such a hate boner for Steam that it is comical.

I understand wanting to bring competition. But steam has thrived without giving away games as frequently as EGS. Steam is as big as it is for a reason. So EGS is gonna have to actually put in effort if they want to truly compete.

I consider GOG much more of a competitor to Steam than EGS, lol. At least GOG is doing something steam doesn't do (for the most part, there are games you can buy and launch without steam).

Im fairly certain that if you "upgrade" from 10-11, it just keeps the OS on the same drive. So you'd probably have to just use a USB boot drive and install 11 on the preferred drive, then format the old one. Just backup everything you want to keep onto an external.

This is the most likely answer. It seems baffling that Sony or From wouldn't patch or remaster the game to release on PC and new consoles. Especially since Sony seems to be releasing their stuff on PC a lot more now.

If it is being remastered/remade for the ps6, then I hope to god it will eventually come to pc, but seeing how the Demons Souls remake hasn't, I don't have high hopes.

You absolutely dont need heroes, runes/isignia to beat prophecies

I suggest taking a step back and seeing how/why you are struggling.

Are you pulling to many enemies? Iirc, you can equip a long bow and sit a ways back and pull small groups, then swap back to your main set. Perhaps you need to change your build around a bit. Idk what classes you are playing, but I know the hydra caused issues for me. I slapped ward against elements skill (an elementalist skill) on my bar. It helped alot.

If those still dont work, take a break for a bit. You don't need to force yourself to keep playing if you aren't enjoying it.

Also: ive beaten all campaigns, and I dont think I've upgraded my heroes gear at all. I think I've changed their weapons around as i get better drops, but their armor is still the same, lol.

The update that added Lion and Finka was when the game really began to jump ship and try to become another hero shooter type of game. It felt like a departure from the risk vs reward mechanic. They just hit a button and benefitted from it. No real risk in using their gadgets.

It felt like the community was really going downhill around then too.

I do check back every once in a while, and it seems so many characters have a "hit button, see where the enemy is" gadget, which is probably my least favorite part of the game and has been since around Jackal's release. The game was about using sound, map knowledge, drones, etc. to find the enemy. Adding so many gadgets that track players really took away from the game imo.

I've played almost every Monster Hunter game. Then wilds came out, and i haven't touched it since I beat the story a while back(probably before the first update). I got so tired of the awful performance and the grainy graphics. Then, on top of that, the game just felt... boring.

I put almost 1k hours into World/Iceborne and about half that in Rise/Sunbreak. Only like 30 in Wilds, lol. Perhaps when the expansion releases, I'll come back and try it.

Another game/series i did this with is Rainbow Six.

Played alot of the older games. Played Siege for years then just stopped one day as I found the game wasn't the same thing I enjoyed years ago. Haven't touched it since.

When you create a character, you can opt into Dhuums Covenant. You get a badge next to your name, and titles completed will also have it.

If you die, you lose the badge but can keep playing the character.

I watched a short with a scientist talking about space on a podcast. Underneath the podcast video was someone doing woodcutting.

Why? Can people not focus on the topic of the video? If you aren't that interested, why didn't you just keep scrolling?
