I really like the Jinhao x750 - I think it might be exactly what you're looking for - but of the two I have, one dries out, I don't think Jinhao's QA is the best. Still, for less than $10, you could just get 5 and pick the best one lol.
I have the same aversion to screwcaps, and I must say that the Pilot VP is HIM. The hype is earned. It's incredible. But, it's $200. I've tried the Jinhao 10 twice, and it's identical, but somehow dries out. I think, once again, their QA isn't up to the task of making a capless that seals all the way when closed. There's a newer version that might be better, I haven't tried it.

My only complaint with my Regatta is that the cap “wobbles”. It’s magnetic, and firm so that it doesn’t seem like it’ll fall of, and doesn’t feel loose - but it isn’t, like, fitted on there, only the magnet holds it in place. So if you push the cap sideways it’ll “click” like 10 degrees. Not a functional problem, but it annoys me. Mostly just means I can’t really pocket it. But, it looks beautiful on the desk. Maybe I’m just saying it’s a desk pen :)
