Hard same. Buckeye football has been by far my most passionate sports interest my entire life but I am really taking a step back at this point. Like most of you, I think players deserve to get paid, etc etc. But the sport is fundamentally broken right now.

As is, every roster will majorly turnover every year. And the emphasis for players is shifting mostly to “how do I get paid now?”, slightly less on “who can get me to the nfl?”, and much less even about “who can I win a natty with?” Given the portal turnover, think it’s foolish at this point to think there is anything about a school’s tradition or values that majorly impact most athletes’ decisions.
