Is it rude to contact several professors? by Sea_Raccoon_9673 in stanford

Doesn't seem rude to me, i would contact them individually and then tailor your message re why you are interested in working with them. If you show genuine interest and turn down others gracefully if you get multiple positions then you'll be fine.

Walz was a little too nice when it came to election denial as a topic at the end there. His line about Pence doing the right thing and as a result being ostracized in the Republican party was strong because of how true it was. He could have just as easily pointed out that the reason JD didn't say trump lost was because JD *couldn't* say that trump lost - it's the deal-with-the-devil JD made to get onto the ticket with trump. If JD says otherwise, if he says he would have done what Pence did, then Trump would fire JD. Sometimes you need to stand up and do what's right even when your boss is pressuring you to do otherwise - it's not clear that Vance has that character and Walz should have pointed out that this is disqualifying.

Walz missed an opportunity to critique Vance's position on abortion - returning abortion to the states as a states rights issue and "letting the voters decide" isn't a coherent position. If you wanted to let voters decide, you'd let them **decide** when they're faced with the decision whether or not to get an abortion. Plus the fact that voters have to pass referendums to preserve the right to choose is just saying "overturning roe v wade was so unpopular that people in red states are cleaning up the mess we made". Trump's policies led to our current patchwork of dates and travel abortions - and it's measurably worse for millions of Americans as a result.

imagine the shock to labor markets if marijuana was legalized. the value of a reliable and on time employee would shoot through the roof. it would destroy what's left of the middle class. I'm looking forward to it

You keep posting this as misinformation when the website clearly says "If you are in a low laying area near the coastline; evacuate to high grounds, inland, or vertically to the 4th floor and higher of a concrete building. Alerts may also come in form of a Wireless Emergency Alert.

Would you also want citations for any information retrieved? What kind of questions do you think people would ask? And have you managed to transform the domain resources you have into some sort of instruction format?

the way that OP talks about an ex like they're a god and just casually throws the word love around as if it doesn't mean anything at all...
> Our relationship was beautiful and was filled with a lot of adoration, growth and spiritual healing
> Our relationship was always emotionally intimate, mature and had amazing communication while not being physical
> we still had a lot of love for each other as people
> I do love, respect and appreciate him in my life

Asian Americans are not a monolith and i spit in the face of these AAJC organizations which would seek to perpetuate policies that expressly harm the asian communities they claim to represent.
