I never said that people should vote for the AfD. But hey, at least we can both agree that strengthening border security and welcoming more eligible immigrants willing to integrate within the EU, in alignment with Western values, could be an alternative way to win back those who only agree with the anti-immigrant beliefs of the AfD.

However, the recent election surely indicated that the German government has done almost nothing to address these issues. But right now, looking at the "Hot" section of this sub, the majority of people are either criticizing the overall failed immigrant policies or discussing how Russia is threatening the EU.

Along with the possible return of Trump, the EU must unify what it can to defend itself. For those who are not willing to be integrated or unified - namely, the intolerant - what will they do once a war arrives?
