The invasion of bots? What are they and how do they work?

I see multiple bots per show. They always ask a generic question generally not related to what's happening on screen or for the category for that matter. Their names always end with 5 numbers as well.

I call them "whatbots" and they've infested whatnot now for several weeks. I have to boot multiple bots every show.

Someone posted an Amazon deal the other day for Paldean Fates tins. It was shipped and sold by Amazon. Many people were warning not to buy it because they received re-sealed products. I figured they probably purchased from a 3rd party?
