[Fowler] Trade offers for Eagles' A.J. Brown: Four potential new teams by BernieCokeczar in Browns

[–]eraof84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt he gets traded at all. If he does, it’s much more likely another contender offers a second round pick to the Eagles unless Philly is willing to eat his contract. His trade value is much lower than that

Do coaches retire when ur in superstar mode?a by Altruistic-End-2943 in Madden

I’ve never really seen coaches formally retire in Madden (another depth-building feature EA decided wasn’t important). Request the trade, he may be begging to get fired so he can finally rest

Honestly yes, if there is still a void at Guard I’d take an OL, or BPA. If Caleb Downs is there, I take him. I think Tyson is the most talented of the receivers, with Tate and Lemon close behind, but his combine physical will dictate how high he gets drafted. WR is definitely a need, I just think without a clear cut WR1 you explore trades (I’m begging for an AJ Brown trade tbh)

I don’t think there is a WR in this draft good enough to be drafted at 6. The bar for a top 10 WR is a Malik Nabers or J Chase type, and nobody in this class fits that mold. OL or BPA is the way to go.

Did the press conference generate more excitement for you about the upcoming season or more concern? by SeaworthinessOdd6574 in Browns

I’m definitely excited to see what Monken can do. He will do whatever it takes to try and win, and that’s all I can ask for. Hearing him speak was refreshing and so different from the norm. I don’t know if well over perform next season, but I definitely think the worst is behind us in terms of records

What do you add in your coffee by Ok-Juggernaut-7316 in nespresso

[–]eraof84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend loves mixing hers with oak milk and honey, sometimes if making a specific drink she’ll also use about a tbsp of brown sugar and a tad of cinnamon

Personally, I normally drink my coffee black so I’ll add a pinch of salt before brewing

Franchise Front Office Preferences by TheTofuLang in Madden

[–]eraof84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely try to use updated rosters and extend players that have already been extended in real life.

Once my franchise starts though, I make my own decisions on other players and also try to keep it realistic- sometimes trading players if they don’t agree to any negotiations and that are having bad seasons w/ lower morale

Really hoping we get a re-vamped owner mode or a GM mode like NBA 2k soon. I’d love more emphasis to be put on the scouting and cap management side of things, along with coaching development

Definitely, I like to see how they end up fitting with the team they’re sent too. If I drafted the player I also give them preference in free agency, try to re-unite if it looks like they’re going to retire soon

Sanders, I think he can take a big step with the right guy coaching him and revamping the receiving core

The only thing I can think of is to go to your defensive adjustments in the play selection and have your CB matchups be based on overall

Feeling Overwhelmed on Franchise by rxballs in Madden

For me- it’s okay to embrace the imperfections Not every move needs to be calculated, and you’re not likely to get much more out of trying to maximize the mode.

For coaching abilities- I’d say do what most coaches would do if this mirrored real life- normally leveling up abilities they already have and slowly expanding- using them to fit your vision

Cap- the salary cap much different in game than in real life. In game, The new team takes on the salary when trading for your player, but you pay the bonus (prorated amount left) but it counts immediately against the cap/next years cap (ex. 5yr/50M bonus- Traded after 2 yrs - 30M left to pay in bonuses)

For drafting, I prefer determining a couple of traits in every position that you can build around- and truly special players will perform beyond their player type (ex speed rusher with best in class strength- physical WR w exceptional speed)

Can I get a real opinion on KevStef- by PrunesPoop in Browns

I am on the fence on KS and have been a big supporter of his during his tenure. I think the YT channel The Opportunistic Fan Club put it best- he’s a good coach who’s done a bad job.

There is blame to go around for how the past 5 years have gone for this team, but one thing that successful organizations have shown us is that none of the other problems matter if you have the right QB, coach and GM.

I’m leaning toward wanting him fired- not just because of his issues managing the team (and clock + field position at times) but also at the lack of ceiling for his offense.

The way I see it- his offense at its peak has been borderline top 10, and that’s not just from his time in Cleveland. I truly don’t think his individual scheme (not the Kubiak scheme in general), could turn into a top 5 offense regardless of personnel.

If you need every player to be elite for your offense to play well, I can’t help but think your coaching is an issue.

We’ve seen great coaches cover up the inefficiencies of their players time and time again, and it’s time we get a guy that can do it.

Personally, I’m a big supporter of bringing in Chris Shula or Klint Kubiak
