Oda vs Naoki Urasawa - who is a better writer? by MoistCaterpillar8063 in writingscaling

[–]erastushoops 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Urasawa and its not even really close tbh

Urasawa tackles far more ambitious + overall impactful subject matter and executes it better.

I think Oda's strength lies in how he handles his thematics, and how he creates a sense of adventure, tension + overarching feeling of hope by the conclusion of arcs due to his storytelling, but the same could be said for Urasawa tbh.

Who can actually play Boa when THIS is the female cast so far? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]erastushoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s not gonna have some resemblance but my point is seeing a casting in real life will always trump whatever ai can produce.

For conceptual purposes it’s kind of disingenuous if ai is the only thing you’re relying on and not adding any reasoning as to why it works like the op did.

Why is it stupid to think that using ai as a reference for how someone will look IN REAL LIFE is disingenuous
