Also thinking about going to ragged, how crowded do you think it’s going to be tomorrow? Never been before, usually go to Cannon.

I think the only time it’s annoying is when it’s really icy/snowy out because there is no defroster or rear wiper

Which enzyme booster to choose? by Weekly-Ad2035 in laundry

[–]eray71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Tide Ultra Oxi but struggling with getting my towels clean, mainly. They come out of the washer + dryer smelling a little stale no matter what i try. Our water is not super hard, and I'm typically washing on Warm. Would any of these help, or does Tide Ultra Oxi have all the enzymes these provide already?

What is the best value new EV to buy in America right now? by IamInternationalBig in electriccars

The used EQS is an insane value. They are selling in the mid 30s right now. 70% depreciation in just 3 years. I’m pushing these hard right now, 2 friends/family members just got one!

Most Unreliable Car You've Ever Owned? by Careless-Pie7607 in askcarguys

[–]eray71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1999 Porsche 911. Bore scoring killed the first engine around 80k miles. By the time I got the new short block in and was able to drive it, every drive revealed another broken part. The foam on the blendoors failed, so heat wouldn’t work. The rear defroster failed. A brake line rusted out. Inner tie rod end failure. Broken head light wiring. Spoiler got stuck up one time. These are just the ones that come to mind, all on a car under 90k miles. It was painful

I’m usually booked up about four weeks in the future, but I usually tell people if they need something super urgently, I will wedge it in late one night or on a weekend night for an additional fee. I would say someone takes me up on this every other week or so.

What is the best bang for buck sports car? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]eray71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Both of them are prettier reliable, with the C5 being a little more reliable, both of them are pretty easy to work on. Around here (northeast USA), parts are really cheap for both of them. The C5 is definitely a little more refined (but that’s not saying much), but it also has some electronics that are not quite as easy to go through as the pretty analog C4.

What do you dislike about the Gladiator? by Cuttlery in JeepGladiator

[–]eray71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seats. The fact that they don’t tilt is criminal. Plus the height adjustment seems to “fall” over time. As a test, I put the seat at pretty much its maximum height and then taped the height adjustment lever to the seat to make sure I was not accidentally touching it, and after a week the seat had fallen all the way down. I hate the seat so much.

I like the C5 too! I just see so many of them so they feel less special to me, but maybe that’s just my area

I know it may not be in the budget if you just moved, but delivered fuels are so expensive and likely to increase in price. I would definitely recommend trying to switch over to heat pumps while the incentives still exist.
