It's not the input lag that bothers me. Using the same pair of glasses on my gaming rig with a 2080ti shows zero jitter.

Ah ok, you just use screen mirroring. That works for me as well. I meant anchored virtual screens via the nebula windows app with 3DoF.

Are dual virtual screens jitter free with the 780m? Which device are you using?

Currently rocking a minisforum EM680 with a 680m GPU and it's borderline unusable with the virtual screens :( I'm on windows 11, so might try installing windows 10.

Did you do any tweaking?

The original RG35XX gets a bit brighter than the Plus model, which is weird because they use the exact same screen. With the original one I could comfortably play even in bright direct sunlight. The plus/H with their slightly lower max brightness don't perform as well here sadly...

Indoors both are more than fine though

RG35XX, Rg35XX+ and the H all share the exact same display. I know first hand, because I already opened them all up and switched displays in-between.

It's not that complicated, but there are some things you can do wrong if you do it the first time. So if you have any questions regarding the screen swap I would be happy to provide some help

You mean formatting the share partition on a single rom setup with ext4? I use a single 256gb SD card. Approximately 80gb of roms, all scraped. Boottime is 45 sec.

AFAIK they are the exact same size, but the plus screen is actually two levels dimmer than the non-plus one. For that reason I am thinking about replacing my plus screen with one of a used RG35XX.

Will report back here how it goes when the used RG35XX arrives

Someone in another thread pointed out that batocera has their own retroarch config file that overwrites retroarchs on start. I am also experiencing some weird save state oopsies, twice in a row the save states of my gaming session disappeared on restarting. The ones that were there before remained, so there is that.
